2 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

Due to an error, I was double booked into this hotel for one night. I arrived a little after the 13.00 cut off time to cancel the booking. They refused to cancel the second room and I was charged for two rooms. Lesson: make sure you only book rooms through the website using an account. Never as a guest. It... More

Good location for city centre. Great view from 7th floor. Room clean and comfortable with good lighting. Well insulated Friendly helpful staff Appeared to have a nice restaurant although I did not use it as I had made other arrangement Would highly recommend this hotel for a visit to Birmingham

Stayed here with family for a weekend. Location is good and rooms are fine but the room key system needs serious update. We were unable to get into our rooms on several occasions. All the staff seem to be aware of the problem and can't do anything about it. Also some of our party were woken up by noisy plumbing... More

We stayed just the one night while visiting friends in Birmingham. The hotel was in a perfect location for us. My wife could spend all day shopping in the Bullring then in the evening there are plenty of good pubs and restaurants in the area. The hotel itself is very safe with good security, it's clean, as you expect from... More

We spent two nights at the Premier Inn with 2 kids and a baby, and we really did have a good night's sleep as they promised. The room was nice and clean and big enough for our family, and the location was right there at the center of Birmingham. Other than that - there's no real lobby, just a few... More

Stayed here for 5 nights on a business trip. The hotel is well situated being a 10 min up hill walk from New Street Station. Check in is machine led, no friendly face to welcome you here. My rooms on the 3rd floor and was nice. On one of the days the room was not refreshed or new tea/coffee resupplied.... More

I know this is what you would expect from a premier Inn, but 4 stars was 'very good" which I don't think this is. It's tidy though and clean, just doesn't have things like shampoo and conditioner or hair dryer. Reasonable prices too.

Overnight stay in Birmingham to celebrate a special birthday. Premier Inn Waterloo Street could not have been better. Great from start to leave. Considering its in the centre of the city the rooms are very quiet. Great nights sleep followed by an amazing breakfast

I was largely happy with the Premier hotel but cannot justify 4 stars because the bathroom had a strong smell of mildew (I stayed two nights in room 203). That negated much I would have otherwise written.

I was looking for a good value hotel in the city centre and this Premier Inn fitted the bill perfectly. The recommended car park was Snow Hill. This was easy to find and the car park itself of good quality. But - paying for the parking (£11.90 for 24 hours) needed lots of coins or a fiddly and quite long... More
