My husband and I spent 2 nights in this place. Lovely staff at the reception and very helpful. However, lots of things that i wasnt impressed while staying here. Firstly, when we came in to our room, it was cold and dirty. Single glazed window, cobwebs and dust and no ventilation at all! Shower wasnt too bad but youre visible...

Great hostel just a couple of minutes walk from St Paul's square in the Jewellery quarter. We had a four bed dorm, room bright and clean with own toilet and washbasin. Well designed, lots of space and comfy beds. Towels and linen were provided. Atmosphere of place was great, true hostel vibe with communal kitchen, cereals, bread and fruit and...

APPALLING staff service I have ever encountered. Booked, asked if hostel dog friendly on 2+ occasions,ADVISED no problem. Arrived & told no dogs allowed, no real apology, and no assistance given despite lateness, despite me being heavily laden with luggage (and small dog) and despite me being totally unfamiliar with the area. From what I could see of accommodation its BARGAIN...

The best budget place to stay in Birmingham. Clean, great location and really comfy clean beds. Ensuite rooms are really convenient and breakfast is included. Dorm was warm but common area was a little chilly

I saw MICE 4 times in a week, this is no proof of a clean place. No heating in the room, in the dorm, in the bathroom. I was not able to shower as there was no hot water in the dorm upstairs. I only had one old man in my room who watched porn and undressed in front of...

Heating not working in my single room , room not clean. Dinner supposed to be at 8:00 PM as told by the staff. Turned out to be the chef started half hour earlier and dinner was not available anymore? During breakfast plates were dirty and glasses either.

I stayed 2 nights the weekend before Christmas in a 4-bed ensuite room. The first night (Saturday) the room was full; the second night I was the only one in the room (hell yeah!). PROS: -Quite centrally located. You're in the very heart of Birmingham in some 5-10 minutes. -The area is quiet but there are facilities nearby, including a...

This hostel is located behind the St Pauls Metro Stop - so is quite convenient to the city centre. Make sure you dont get out at Snow Hill as you will end up having to find a pedestrian overpass to cross the very busy A4400. The hostel has very friendly helpful staff and the common areas are well appointed and...

Room could have done with a clean, especially around windows. Very basic accomodation. Staff were quite helpful and friendly. Lots of noise from People coming home from 2AM till 6AM. One guy was shouting at the main entrance to let him in for about an hour.
