My boyfriend and I have been regulars at the Beeches for the past 3 years and we have seen a few changes in the place during that time. We used to absolutely love it and stayed loyal for our weekly visits but over the past year the place had begun to deteriorate- in both food and service quality. We persevered but we had a shocking experience in early June which almost put the final nail in the coffin.. however, we had been away for a few weeks and on our return, last Thursday, we decided to give it one last chance, and we are so glad we did! What a change; fresh faces, fresh attitudes, fresh paint and fresh food! We had the garlic chilli prawns to start - utterly delicious and the chef kindly pandered to our ‘no shells’ request (which I know he wasn’t delighted about, haha!!) and then a customised diavolo pizza - thin based, fresh toppings, perfectly cooked- accompanied by the skinny fries. Proper fries, no horrid dry potato skin on them, exactly how french fries should be. To cap it off, our waiter Sam was an absolute delight - attentive, friendly and very happy to accommodate our high maintenance requests.. We went back again today and I’m very happy to report that we had the same standard of food and service as we did last week, and Sam looked after us perfectly again. A big thank you to all the new staff at the Beeches (oh and the lovely Shaun of course who has always worked so hard at the place - I’m sure at times he wanted to run a mile) consistency is key and we look forward to seeing the place back to its best, we will be there in our supporting role!! K&W PS - the Sancerre is overpriced and you should get some procencale rose on the wine list ;)

Great hotel, friendly, helpful staff who went that extra mile to ensure that we enjoyed our first stay in the Birmingham area. Advice where to go, how to get there and even getting leaflets for us! What more could you ask for. Lovely clean room, great breakfast. The choice for breakfast was fabulous. Hot food, cereal, fruit, pastries, juices etc. I would certainly stay here again. Thanks for making our ‘first up north’ experience so good!

Recently stayed for 3 nights for a business trip. I had a lovely small double room in The Conifers building. It had a lovely view over the well tended gardens. The food is lovely with a good choice. There is a relaxed atmosphere and the staff are very attentive; nothing is too much trouble. Thank you!

The room was a good size with a plug socket at the bed head where it was requested. There was room to swing the proverbial cat and it was clean and tidy. The staff were very nice and helpful. The breakfast was very good and the cooked food was done to order and nice and hot. The food in the restaurant was very nice. I had the fish and chips and my wife had the panacotta, both of which were very nice and reasonable value. We will check here again if staying in the area, which incidentally is less than a mile from Cadburyworld.
