Certificate of Excellence
A favourite with the townspeople, who use it variously as a watering-hole, The Rose & Crown is the place for a spot of lunch or a celebration dinner. Winning several national awards including being twice named in the Top Ten UK pubs in the last few years, The Rose & Crown also won Britain’s Best Brigade in 2017. We serve food all day, along with top-quality draught beers and have a carefully chosen wine list. Our thirteen en-suite B & B rooms have all the little comforts you’d find at home, popular for business and leisure stays.

Good menu and attentive service. Knowledgeable wine advice. Starters were of good size and well presented, mains were really delicious although one beef wellington was a little over but still tender and moist. Good pudding selection, lemon meringue Eaton mess was excellent.

Technically no, but lots of street parking and multi-storey behind the pub for a few quid.
