We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights just after New year. The staff were an absolute delight. Check in carried out efficiently and with a warm smile. Staff in the bar where we had some food whilst waiting for our rooms were equally friendly and helpful. The disaster was the evening meal. We were told that a menu would...

We only stayed for one night, but the service was excellent, the room clean and well appointed, and the breakfast great. The house and gardens are beautiful, and the bar well stocked! We would definitely stay again.

Below is an extract from a letter of complaint I have written to the hotel. I am still yet to even receive an acknowledgement of my letter! • We arrived at 4pm to be assigned room 83. When we entered the room, it was clear that it had not been made up since the previous guests left. We returned to...

My family and I went for a three day break to celebrate new year, the hotel was in a beautiful setting. The receptionist was helpful and the room was clean and quiet. On the Friday night we all met up in the bar and was given the menu for us to select our meals which we did and we sat...

New venue for our Motor Club's annual bash and it proved to be highly successful with great feedback from fellow members. Staff were a bit short handed, so flexibility and service suffered a little, although individuals were, on the whole, polite and helpful. Individual dining was first class, communal dining a little less so, but perfectly acceptable for our function....

Stayed here for two nights early in December. The approach to the hotel is very impressive. Check in was friendly and efficient and we were given a map of the hotel and sent on our way. The room was quite spacious but it needed decorating and overlooked the back of the kitchens where the rubbish is kept. As we had...

Having tickets for the Tempest between Christmas and New Year we were just looking for a convenient hotel so booked a Groupon dinner bed and breakfast deal at Wroxall Abbey. It delivered so much more than expected. The frost covered estate was beautiful, the food well cooked and the room comfortable and a good size. A very comfortable hotel to...

Me & the Wife stayed here for one night, wow what a place... Set in fantastic grounds, with history oozing out of every pore, the room was fantastic (Actually we felt like Vips ) but after 5 minutes in the room, we found the bed was broken, we got in touch with reception, who were brilliant, and up graded us...

We were staying here because of a family Birthday. The evening meal was a choice of Turkey or Ham. The Turkey was rolled Turkey, which had they stated that, I would not have chose it.I expected it to have been carved off a bird, therefore it was tasteless but not only that the whole meal was cold. We ordered a...
