A lovely old hotel and former Abbey with a lot of history attached to it. Stayed two nights so that we could visit Coventry and Rugby near by. Pool, good, but many lockers broken in the ladies area and no changing cubicles, so no place to sit and change back into dry clothes. Gym consisted of a rower, running machine... More

Visited the Hotel recently the room was well equipped and clean. Lovely view over the grounds. As we were busy visiting the area didn't use Hotel Facilities so can't comment and didn't bother going down for breakfast so can't review that either. But our room was very comfortable and had no problems. Weather wasn't great so didn't get chance to... More

We were here as part of a group booking and ate in one of the function rooms. we had a courtyard superior room and stayed one night. The room was huge, with two mezzanine levels in addition to a large area which included the bed, sofa & chairs and other furniture. The bathroom had a bath with shower-in-bath (and shower... More

I booked the Celebration package which consisted of afternoon Champagne tea and 7 Course gourmet dinner. I wanted to treat my wife so paid to upgrade the room to a Suite. On arrival reception check in was poor and slow. Got to the room and it was not worth the extra £60 for the suite , it was grubby and... More

If you like modern minimalism then this hotel is not for you, but if you enjoy history, charm and atmosphere in beautiful surroundings then you will love it. We did have one of their superior rooms, but it was huge and really comfortable. the furnishing were dated, but that added to its charm. The hotel has everything it should have... More

If I could give zero stars I would. Lack of mod cons aside (no mini-bar, reliable wi-fi etc) the place is utterly shambolic. I couldn't get into my room until 4pm but had to check-out by 11am which means a 5hr turnaround. You certainly wouldn't think so given state of room. I asked if they could iron a shirt for... More

I bought my wife a 2 day break at Wroxall Abbey as a birthday present through Wowcher back in June. We visited the placed on Sunday 7th August and stayed for 2 nights. On arrival we were checked in very promptly and it was apparent that there were 2 weddings being hosted, one in the grounds leading up to the... More

Thank you for taking the time to write a review regarding your recent stay and for the positive comments surrounding breakfast, the Bar, your bedrooms and the Spa. I would like to take the opportunity to apologise for the lack of communication experienced in terms of dining and drinking options during your stay. There were two weddings at the Estate... More

Upon arrival, the entrance is stunning, so amazing. Long sweeping drive with grand gothic manor house in front of you. Beautiful grounds surround the house. That was where it started to go a little awry. On arrival, waited for the girl at reception to greet me and nothing. Stood for 5 mins and eventually she looked up. No greeting, told... More

Shabby and dated, should have read other comments before our PA booked but trusted her to find somewhere decent near JLR. Evening meal was so bad I returned it, cut into the turkey breast and it was raw so got up and went to look for nearest take away Won't be going down for breakfast having now read the reviews...
