We stayed here for the second year running as we were visiting the Tewkesbury Medieval Festival and also wanted to visit Stratford and Warwick. Last time it was just husband and I but this time my in-laws joined us. The accommodation was as lovely as ever, always clean and fresh. The rooms were just ideal, there are two double rooms... Sue, the owner, couldn't have made our visit any better. She gave us tips on where to eat, and places locally of interest. Our room was comfortable, breakfasts well cooked and with home made jams, overlooking the beautiful garden, which we made use of in the late afternoons. On leaving, Sue presented us with a bag of her home grown... More

My husband & I stayed at the Hillcrest guest house the day before we went to warwick castle as the drive up & back home from kent would have been tiring. we had to phone up the guest house for directions when we got closer. 1st impressions were that it was a bit out of the way but the couple... Had a lovely stay in this lovely little B & B, lovely hosts and a good cooked breakfast with homemade jams. Lovely breakfast room overlooking the garden. Bit hard to find if it is dark as there are no lit signs so very easily missed. Be out of your room on time though, we were still in ours at 2... More

I stayed at the Hillcrest Guest House for 2 nights when visiting family in Warwick. There was a wonderful warm welcome on arrival and when I arrived back each day. (I accidentally found myself talking about 'going home' to Hillcrest after one day out!). The building is about 300 years old and has all the quaint features to match. It... More

From the moment I arrived I was made to feel welcome, this included being able to sit in the garden with a glass of wine and what a delightful garden. The room was comfortable with large bathroom ensuite. Loved the breakfast which included Sue's homemade jams, yum. Great location to access Warwick and Stratford on Avon.

Just back from 3 nights at Hillcrest. Sue and Mick are really friendly and welcoming which starts any trip well. The beds are comfortable and there is everything you need, including plenty of hot water. The gardens are really pretty and you are welcome to sit outside and admire them with a drink (in a cup or a glass)! The... More

“As this building is so old, expect slightly 'quirky'. They didn't have central ceiling lights 300 years ago so the (lamp) light in the bedroom was a bit on the low side but the good-sized shower room was lovely and bright. I stayed in family room (2) and it was plenty big enough for 3 (with a double and single bed) - very comfy. Whilst there are not many stairs up to this room, they are steep so you might want to ask about them if you have a problem with steps.”
