Was on a cycling weekend with 5 other friends and was staying overnight. everything seemed fine apart from the waitress. Was rude and made us feel unwelcome. Was handing breakfasts to the first person available because she couldn't be bothered to go round the back and present the food properly, I made a gesture when she passed a plate to... More

I would highly recommend this hotel as it is the best. The toilet was a bit slow. I liked eating in the restaurant at night. The inn is near the shops and also near Warwick castle. You have to walk to Warwick castle.

Booked for a group of 17 by another person not chosen by me. The room was small and dirty there were no bedside cabinets or bedside lights. The wardrobe was very small about 4' 6" tall, there was only one small bath towel for 2 guests and one small hand towel with holes in it and a tiny bar of... More

Lovely old pub,but accommodation side needs upgrading, everything is old and worn, bed was hard and uncomfortable with 2 pillows an inch thick and 2 about a foot thick ,we had 2coat hangers in a cupboard,1towel and 1 teeny bar of soap,no shower gel, breakfast was ok no cereals offered, younger staff were very nice and helpful.

I guess, from other reviews, that standards may vary according to room. Ours was terrible. Generally, very tatty and uncared for; little evidence of regular cleaning; but the main problem was the single glazed window which let in both constant draught (one of the beds was directly in front of it) and the noise of traffic from a busy main... Was originally given a room in the annexe, but asked to move as room smelt and had a very noisy cistern. Moved to a family room, where cupboard door was hanging off and shower tiling was covered in mould. Tv was faulty as well. Suggest the management take a long hard look at their service offering, because at this rate... More

We spent one night here on the way down South. It was very handy as only 10mins from the motorway. The car park was full but there is some on street parking free from 8pm to 8am. The staff were very welcoming. The room which we had was basic but clean. The only problem we had was that the room... More

Comfy bed, sheets and pillow. Free full english breakfast and free parking! Excellent value for money. AND we got 2 for 1 vouchers for Warwick Castle. We stayed on a Saturday night and it was still quiet and got a good night sleep.

Room was clean but no loo roll and woke up to an abanded breakfast room in the bar - uncleared breakfast tables. no parking because car park was full of work vans. Told by cleaner? who did not speak english that the staff and chef had abandonded the place via a phone message she had received.

Small rooms off the car park. Some car park noise and from people sitting outside drinking/smoking. Comfy bed, poor curtains so room was lit from outside at night. Basin in bedroom, not in shower/loo room. Black mould around tiles and shower. One towel between two of us. Complimentary tea etc, soap. Didn't eat or drink there apart from breakfast. One... More
