The staff were friendly and helpful and we were showed to our room on arrival.
The food was nice and piping hot. The selection of ales were at the right temperature, as was the draught San Miguel on the 2nd night, lovely and cold.

Excellent. Varied menu, good selection of beers and wines. The menu covered all price ranges. Very disappointing that so few people were there. This pub did have a reputation for being expensive however things have certainly changed. Well worth a visit.
