Absolutely an outstanding place. Location is perfect, close to the very city centre and most of the pubs/bar/restaurant. Alex provided an amazing customer service. I have been here for about 2 weeks and she always tried to accommodate the best she could all my request. Friendly and professional service, clean and spacious room. I will definitely come back here once in Stratford. Thank you Alex
I found this BnB in a good location for exploring Stratford. Only a few minutes walk from the centre of town including restaurants and bars and of course RSC. The room was a little small as it had a double and a single bed in ( had the single been removed it would have been more comfortable) the en suite was also small but adequate, because of COVID we couldn’t have breakfast but was compensated with a meal at one of the bakeries in town which was very nice. Alex the hostess was very welcoming and was very informative as to what to see and where to go
We stayed at the Salamander for a couple of nights away. Fabulous location for all sights and walking. Alex who was running the B&B for her parents did an excellent job, nothing was too much trouble, and on arrival she gave us a map with all local attractions, and a list of recommended bars, restaurants, places to eat as booking is essential in this COVID environment. Again, due to COVID breakfast was not available, but, arrangements had been made with a local bakery for breakfast and a drink which suited us fine. I would highly recommend as a place to stay, warm welcome assured.
All the boxes ticked. Staff was absolutely welcoming. Full breakfast was delicious. Pascal had funny sense of humour. Room was excellent and clean and warm! Staff had great knowledge of town which is helpful and suggested many things to do. Definitely would recommend. Will definitely return in the summer!
My wife and I had arranged a break in North Wales. I broke my arm so she had to do all the driving. We arranged an overnight stay in Stratford When we arrived, the hotel propriator Pascal noticed my arm and put us in the downstairs bedroom. This is a small hotel so we were blessed. He gave us all the information we needed for a meal in the town on a Sunday night We had an excellent breakfast. Pascal was a lively character, as good as a Shakespearean actor!
