Stayed for a couple of nights. Great central location, near the river, near Shakespeare, ideal for exploring surrounding area. Friendly and helpful staff... Janet was very good during breakfast service, Brad - the chef - was excellent as was our meal in their cosy restaurant (we were spoilt, thank you!) Nice garden, lounge areas with character, good size standard rooms.

Stayed over at the falcon, for one night, lovely room, amazing location, surrounded by dozens of pubs and restaurants. Staff helpful and courteous. We didn't eat at the hotel but would recommend asking the young waiter in the evening for an Irish coffee, it was lovely!!

A wonderful old hotel with modern facilities, close to the theatre and the Shakespeare houses in the heart of old Stratford. The central garden area is a bonus and breakfast is very good. Older style rooms overlook the street and are therefore noisier, but full of character. Modern rooms at the back.

We stayed at the Falcon for our anniversary weekend and we were extremely pleased. The central location was fantastic for all the things we had planned including a very short walk to the RSC. We opted for their Pre Theatre Menu which was excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was in one of the older parts of... More

The strapline for the advertising for the Falcon is "Everything You Expect from a 4* Hotel". Honestly, not so much when it comes to the rooms in the 70s block. The service is excellent, breakfast buffet is good (though when items ran out it took 10 minutes or so to refresh them), and the old buildings are absolutely stunning. Unfortunately,... More

This is an old Shakespearian-like property with a newer modern addition. We stayed in the newer part, which was perfectly adequate for our needs. The room was surprisingly spacious for the UK. The shower was very poweful (again, surprising for the UK); our only problem with it was the difficulty in regulating the water temperature. There is no air conditioning... More

I went here for my 6th wedding anniversary. I have been before as well. The food is amazing here. I would definitely recommend. One of the best meals I have ever had. The Chef is brilliant. Excellent food, well done.

Great location, perfect for visiting for a Shakespeare trip. Walking distance from station and convenient for theatres and sightseeing. Very friendly helpful staff, who allowed us to leave our bags for the day when we arrived early. Good breakfast and bar food
