Beautiful hotel, extremely clean and well maintained, great bed in the room (it was a super king size!), located in the best place to enjoy Stratford upon Avon, at walking distance to all restaurants and places to visit. But it was the staff who made this experience extraordinary, respectful, polite and friendly, always ready to help. Thanks to them this was something we will remember. Sadly, it was lockdown during our stay and we couldn't enjoy the restaurant and other facilities, as they were closed following governmental rules.
After a disappointing stay at the Indigo in York we were unsure of what to expect, but what a contrast! This hotel is truly the jewel in Indigos crown!!It exceeded every expectation on every level. The staff are wonderful, totally professional yet engaging and proactive in ensuring you have a great stay.It exudes comfort throughout whether within your room or lounge etc, nothing is too much trouble.Covid restrictions were in place, however it did not impact on our guest experience.Beautiful relaxed surroundings within an historical building, superb food and service and hygiene levels en pointe! I couldn’t recommend it more.
Really want to say thanks to all the staff who made our stay here in Stratford upon Avon extra special I’ve raved about your hotel to everyone! A Really charming and unique hotel with a great bit of history. Super nice bed and fully stocked mini bar always a plus. Thank you. We Will seek indigo hotels out in the future.
Great hotel in the centre of Stratford. Friendly staff, good Covid-19 measures. Superior room was spacious and well kitted out. Coffee machine, kettle, dressing gowns, slippers etc. Very comfortable bed. Breakfast very good, much better than our last visit in August. Look at forward to returning.
Of all the hotels and restaurants from our Staycation this one certainly has to be my highlight.👌 Having stayed in an Indigo hotel in Liverpool and enjoyed immensely we decided to stay at Hotel Indigo Stratford Upon Avon for the wife's 50th birthday. From the moment we we're checked in by the most friendly and very helpful Tom ( our favourite member of staff 😉) on the front desk.. To the moment we checked out perfect service all round from every member of staff an outstanding hotel where we will definitely be returning. Slightly early checking in we went to the bar for a drink which is an old building full of wooden beams and oozing with character and atmosphere and yet again very friendly and cheerful staff. When we got to our room which has been decorated beautifully from the wonderful wardrobe and lamps to the little things like a tv speaker in the bathroom ceiling and the rain shower was perfect. And what makes hotel indigo Stratford Upon Avon stand out.. The small details of a hand written birthday card and a piece of cake put on the desk of the bedroom waiting for us very thoughtful. The hotel is very central for all your needs in Stratford upon Avon whether on business or just as a tourist visiting all the attractions. Being big foodies loving our a la carte, gastro food and tasting menus we herd a lot of good reviews about the hotel restaurant The Woodsman Restaurant and boy they we're not wrong The Woodsman Restaurant has now gone on our list of favourite restaurants. 👌 We booked a table for the evening of the wife's 50th birthday and before that a table in the bar for Pre dinner drinks.. ( Obviously due to COVID-19) even a table in the bar has to be booked now.. The cocktails we're amazing... Before dinner I went for a house mule with rum and the wife went for a hedgerow bramble a gin based cocktail. My favourite being... The Sazerac consisting of ABK6 cognac, Woodford reserve, Absinthe, bitters & sugar.. The food in The Woodsman is outstanding... For starters we went for :- Wild venison Scotch Egg and muntjac lollipops served with house pickles Chicken liver parfait Grape chutney served with brioche And main course Grilled Berkshire pork chop, crisp crackling Bramley apple. chicory, honey Haunch and faggot of Wild Gloucestershire fallow deer smoked bone marrow served with black cabbage and a peppercorn sauce. We we're quite stuffed after that.. And we're not going to go for dessert.. But then one of the waiters bring over a loverly dessert with Happy birthday written on the plate for my wife with two spoons.. Yet again the small things that make this hotel so wonderful. Breakfast each morning was also delicious and hearty with a great choice of continental and cooked options. We would highly recommend a stay at Hotel Indigo Stratford Upon Avon you won't be disappointed and hope you enjoy it as much as we did. Many thanks to all the staff at Hotel Indigo Stratford Upon Avon you are all amazing. You made our stay memorable and extra special for my wife's 50th birthday. Keep up the great work and we definitely can't wait to come back.…
