Recently stayed for a couple of nights to visit Stratford-upon-Avon and grab a play. Good, clean hotel with great rooms, lounge bar. But it's the location that makes it stand out by the river and rca. Only criticism is the heating of the hotel, quite warm and air con right over bed. Would recommend it

We visited the Arden Hotel for the second time, and we enjoyed it more than ever. We stayed in the Monkey Puzzle room which was facing the Royal Shakespeare Theatre and was great. We enjoyed the breakfast, and dinner was also really good. The staff were outstandingly helpful. We look forward to returning before too long.

I often stay at this hotel which offers a touch of class and luxury to your stay whether business or pleasure. The ambience and feel throughout is luxurious and the beds are incredibly comfortable Best hotel I've stayed at in Stratford Upon Avon

I (aged 55) stayed here the 12 and 13th August 2016 with my daughter (aged 23) so that we could see Hamlet at the RSC. The weather was hot so this made Stratford very busy. The hotel is a short 3 minute walk to the RSC theatre and has ample parking which is a bonus in this very busy town.You... More

Stayed 2 nights, no problem parking, the concierge very helpful with luggage to our room, we received a welcome letter on arrival, although our room overlooked the car park, it was still a lovely room, added bonus was the air conditioning as it was very warm weather, also a mini fridge with bottled water & milk, only minor complaint was... From start to finish what a lovely experience at this hotel. Warm and friendly staff couldn't do enough for you. We didn't eat at the hotel except for breakfast which was of exeptional quality and choice. It was the little things that really made it . Warming the milk for the coffee at breakfast was nice. As someone who doesn't... More

First night of our 3 night stay. Checked in afternoon and asked housekeeping to replenish box of tissues and change pillows . Bedtime this wasn't done! The night receptionist has to act as bartender in the isolated bar and housekeeper as well as receptionist! Talk about cutbacks! Also restaurant served rock hard bread and For dessert, pastry so hard that... More

We stayed at the Arden Hotel for just one night and only wished we could have stayed longer. We were greeted by a member of staff in the car park who promptly took our cases. Car parking was a bit tricky as there was a Christening Party taking place but later in the afternoon we were able to move our... More

Please remember that this is a 3 star hotel and that is exactly what you are going to get. You may be deceived by the photo of the front of the hotel and the 4-5 star prices. Rooms are tired and dated (we had no water what so ever! But the indifferent Manageress did give us a standard 20% discount... More
