The Larkrise was excellent. We were made to feel extremely welcome by Alan. Breakfast was fantastic, the room was lovely and clean with beautiful views with a spacious bathroom. Lots of places to eat locally.

We had a really nice stay. Greeted with a friendly welcome. The room was clean and well kept, the owners couldn't do more to help and were always around if you needed anything. The setting of the cottage was great as well set in the country a very quite peaceful sleep.

Stayed for a night to break our journey down to Southampton. Lovely house, bedroom was extremely well kitted out and roomy. En-suite shower room was huge with a high quality shower and plenty of towels. Really tasty breakfast and attentive service. Great value!

Lovely rural location just outside stratford not much of a drive but a bit far to walk unless thats the purpose of your stay, a taxi ride is under £10. Room was clean & comfortable but there was a short delay to get hot water for a bath. Breakfast was excellent & served in a lovely dining room.

If you want somewhere to stay without hustle and bustle this is your place! Allan welcomed us into his home and then provided us with great advice on things to do in and around Stratford. Breakfast was a joy set with a lovely view over his back yard watching his chooks scratching away in their yard. Home made raspberry jam...

Alan was a great host in a beautiful setting. The breakfast room was big and bright and opened up to a wonderful yard and the breakfasts were just the way we all wanted...excellent breads and meats were perfect. Such a good choice of foods. Rooms were comfortable and roomy. Alan also had extensive knowledge of the area. A great place...

Nice views, comfortable room, very helpful owners Alan and Jenny. Lovely breakfast too with great cereals and eggs from the owners' chickens. Only 10 minutes from Stratford so a nice alternative to being in the centre. We stayed for a wedding nearby.

My daughter and I stayed at Larkrise for 2 nights and wouldn't hesitate in returning. Alan was a very welcoming and knowledgable host, the room and amenities were great, very clean and comfortable and a tasty breakfast provided. Lovely area to stay, in the countryside with great views but still close enough to all the many attractions in the area.

Beautiful cottage in an old world English village, lovely comfortable rooms and a traditional breakfast to match any. Alan, the host is a is an encyclopaedia of knowlage of the Stratford and local area and is happy to advise to help make stays fulfilled to the max. Not so much a Holliday break, more a stay with friends.
