Visited just for one night over the weekend and thought it was a nice place to stay. Very clean, good old-fashioned decor, and a comfortable bed. The owner, Wayne, was also very welcoming. As a gay couple we were mildly cautious of what reception we would receive in a conservative middle-England type of small hotel, but I am pleased to... More

My husband & I spent one night here and had a very pleasant stay. The rooms are meticulously kept. Wayne, the owner, could not have been nicer. There is a light breakfast in the morning, and a comfortable lounge for relaxing and spending time.

Me and my partner stayed for one night in a double room. When we first arrived, we noticed how beautiful the hotel was, and how friendly the man running it was. He helped us with our bags, and asked us about our trip etc. Although it was quite a small room, it was spotless. What i appreciated the most was... More

Visiting on business, this suited our needs perfectly and for a reasonable price. Rooms were very clean, comfortable, and breakfast was good. A slight issue we had with the stay was sorted out quickly and with little fuss - the hosts could not have been more welcoming! There is a busy-ish road outside, but road noise was negligible within the... More

A 5-night stay cost £275, which on reflection was rather a lot. The room was small, no desk and hardly enough room to put the fold up chair out. The bathroom was equally compact. However both were clean and reasonably comfortable. I was told whilst there that my room had previously had a leak which explained the damp smell but... More

Not many other places left around Coventry so booked here. Not very enthused when I read the reviews. I could not fault the welcome - pleasant and friendly. We were shown to our rooms which was fine and given some ideas for a pub to go for a drink. The bed was fine and although there was road noise it... More

We booked rooms for four friends who were visiting us, so I am relaying their reports. It has a great location near Kenilworth Castle, and had very comfy rooms. They commented especially on how great the breakfast was….lots of food and really appetising
