The staff are very welcoming. Excellent check-in. Speedy organisation of pre-booking process. The sheets are always clean and brilliantly white. The towels are soft and gentle and bath was amazing. Perfect.

We chose this location for its proximity to the Warwickshire Golf Club, where we were to attend a wedding party. The friendly welcome from all the staff was excellent and helpful without being intrusive. The hotel itself feels like a maze of corridors, but was largely clean and well kept with only a few minor exceptions. There is also an...

We were upgraded to the Peacock from the Grand Hotel to a superior room, if that is superior I would hate to see a regular room. The young lady at the desk was most helpful but she did not have much to work with. the room was in the attic, the walls had patches unpainted and a hole in the...

Stayed for 2 nights. Very disappointed but guess got what I paid for: £115 for 2 nights excl breakfast for £6 continental that was basic. Didn't even have margarine for those who do not want butter or can't eat it! £5 per day parking. The room was shabby, unpleasant tiny shower room. Exposed pipes and grubby looking areas that were...

I trawled the internet to find a place close to where I was working for a few days and we took a risk on this place because the reviews were not high. This just goes to show you how you should take reviews with a pinch of salt as this place is really nice. The staff are excellent here, they...

We stayed here on a work trip for 2 nights and found it to be very clean and pleasant and lovely and quiet which is very important for me as I am a light sleeper! We had a nice big room around the back near the car park which had everything we needed. The staff on check in and check...

We have stayed at this hotel a number of times when it was part of the Best Western group. It is no longer with them. The hotel has a different atmosphere. They showed us room 002 when we arrived. The room was small, with curtains falling off the track, cold and dismal. Very disappointing . The hotel menu has changed...

I am sorry that you felt the product was different to what you have experience previously. Though we are not part of the Best Western since 01/01/15 our standard and room have remain the same and improve in most areas specially bedrooms. The hotel menus have not change as we are doing the new ones for this season and the...

This hotel is desparate need of a complete renovation, it is old and tired. I was due stay at the Grand Hotel, it's the sister hotel I beleive. The Grand lost my booking and offered me a superior room at the Peacock with free parking (£5 per night otherwise). When I checked in I requested a quieter room and was...
