The B&B is in a quiet road, but well located for the shops and restaurants of Jesmond and the Metro stop. We had a spacious twin room with everything we needed, including plentiful tea and coffee. Breakfast was good and we found our hosts friendly and happy to advise on things to do.

This is really a b&b but Maxine is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are reasonable as are the prices. It's near to Jesmond centre and some good restaurants. Quiet and peaceful with free parking and wifi. Just what I needed.

Took 3 rooms for two nights whilst attending a family wedding. Good position if you want to explore the charms of Jesmond and the local eateries, bars etc... Small place (6 rooms) but spotless, welcoming and first class breakfast cooked to order from good ingredients. Great VFM.

Very helpful staff, welcoming and accomodating for an early breakfast and cab. Plenty of pleasant eating places not far away. Metro fairly close. Osborne road was buzzing. Clean comfortable room that was quiet.

We couldn't have asked for more at the Adelphi. The hosts were so welcoming and were always willing to help and advise us on directions to get around Newcastle, places to eat at etc. We will definitely be back soon :)

Our second 2 night stay at the Adelphi. Once again, we received a lovely warm and friendly welcome from the owner, before being shown to our room on the top floor, room 5. This is a family room, with a large double bed, a single bed and a sofa style bed. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room, a...

Maxine's hotel is our number one choice for hotels. We have stayed here 3 times now with no problem. She has time for everyone and is most helpful. The rooms are a very good size, clean and homely. Breakfast is delicious and sets you up for the day. Jesmond metro station is only 10 minutes walk, although you can walk...
