Just returned from a 2 night break at this great little Premier Inn whilst visiting friends for the weekend. Location was great. Situated just off the main road and adjacent to a Beefeater Pub/Restaurant. Opposite is a 24 hour McDonald's and a Petrol Station/Co-op combined. Really great if you have forgotten any toiletries etc. Check in was quick and easy... More

Very good and friendly staff. Hotel quiet both inside and out. Very clean and standards kept throughout stay. Excellent breakfast cooked to order (no food in hot pans as is usually the case).Dinner was not good, many items on menu not available. What was served was not too good.

Whilst the staff were all very friendly our stay of five nights was marred by inadequate ventilation of the room (no air on, one fan but impossible to sleep with window open due to noise of traffic from two very busy roads and planes on the approach to Newcastle airport. We had booked two single beds but got a medium... More

Like most Premier Inns, this one provides all the basic needs to a high standard. Adequate car parking, a friendly efficient reception, decent size room and en suite both of which were clean and in good decorative order. Excellent bed, large flat screen TV and adequate standard free wifi. The breakfast and evening meal deal at the adjacent Beefeater, which... More

We love the standard of the Premier Inns and this one was made better due to the quality of the reception staff. They were put to their test when the fire alarms we activated, which luckily was a false alarm, but the reception lady was amazing with the way she dealt with everyone paying particular attention to the elderly and... Stayed for the night before the Great North Run. Just about every hotel in or around Newcastle was either full or seriously expensive (£250+/night). The Premier Inn was still expensive for its usual rate but much more affordable. Free water and little packs of sweets on race day was a lovely touch. Room was very hot and the "air con"... More

We drove to Blyth to see the Tall Ships and had a marvellous day. Tired and hungry we arrived at the hotel in good time for a meal, a drink, time to sit and chat. Food food severed by attentive staff. Returning to our room, feet up, telly and a drink. The hotel and staff are great but rooms can... More

The main thing about a good room is a good Bed. It's a good king size and very comfy. I slept solidly all night with no issue and wish I had a bed the same at home! Clean. Tidy. Shower was decent. Nice to have a TV of a decent size in the room too. Breakfast was OK. Unlimited but... More

My wife and I (both senior Citizens) took a three day break at this, one of a number of Premier Inns we have stayed at, over the period 28 - 31 August 2016. As always we found the accommodation in a good acceptable standard of cleanliness. The staff were most helpful in our requirements and extremely courtious in their manner.... More

Stayed here for 2 nights. Fantastic reception staff very pleasant, & always greets you. The hotel is Very clean & comfortable. We had room 118, on arrival the bedside light lamp was blown, i forgot to tell them, but this was changed the next day fantastic. Breakfast was good bacon tiny bit overdone, but overall a great premier inn.
