I would just like to a "BIG" thank you for such a lovely meal we had today with my mam and husband. The staff were very helpful with me due to the allergies that I have to certain foods but this wasnt a problem for them and managed to cater for my needs. Inside the pub it is clean and... More

We've visited the plough twice in the upstairs resteraunt and twice in the bar /beer garden resteraunt ,it's a bit out in the sticks but very nicely done out and very welcoming once your there.the menus are different upstairs to down stairs but both offer a nice varied choice.

Meal with family and friends, menu was broad and starters and main courses were excellent. Steaks well cooked and seafood dishes all very tasty. Service was good and drinks well served. Lovely meal and we'd hope to be back soon

We ate here last night and had a lovely meal. Very attentive staff, nothing was too much bother for them. Daily specials as well as a very good choice menu, I thoroughly enjoyed the fish platter friends had curry, and pork stack which they both enjoyed. Puddings were good too and staff were quite prepared to alter choices for fussy... More

We were able to stay at the Plough on very short notice, and we were impressed by their well furnished and scrupulously clean bedrooms. Every member or staff we spoke to was very friendly and helpful, and the evening meal was wonderful- good quality food and very generous portions from an extensive menu. We couldn't find fault with any of... More

Visited The Plough for lunch and it is a very pleasant and relaxing venue. The staff were great and service swift and efficient. There is quite a choice of stuff on the menu to suit all appetites, and we opted for prawn cocktail starter and mains of the roast lamb with Yorkshire pudding and a Fish Platter. I personally like... we were welcomed and shown to our booked table. We had asked for a chair with arms and that was no problem. the restaurant has lots of nooks and crannies so it was where nice and private. the food was good but the service exceptional. we had a great night.

Thank you for your review, we are pleased you enjoyed your visit to the plough inn. For reference to others reading your review, you were not in the restaurant, you sat in the lounge/ dining area, the restaurant is totally separate upstairs. Many thanks. Hope to see you again. More

We had tempura prawns and scallops with black pudding for starters and both had fillet steaks for our mains, steaks were cooked to our liking with... More
