A beautiful hotel, currently being refurbished. The refurbishment looks very nice but is it practical? I stayed for one night on a business trip. This was my first time in this hotel and I did not know what to expect. My first disappointment was when I checked in and was told that breakfast was not included and that I would...

Writing this review using my phone 4G due to the atrocious wifi here, couldn't even get speedtest.net to work this morning. I'm sure it will be lovely when the refurb is finished and this thankfully meant for a cheap deal this stay... fortunate because it was just about worth the £56 I paid. Finishes are quite nice but it feels...

Came with my wife to stay for the night on Monday 1st May. We stayed in room 40. Hotel was nice, room was decent and location great for what we wanted. However all this was spoilt when we had no hot water for showers in the morning. Well actually about 3 minutes worth then the shower went freezing cold. I...

Thank you for your review. I am sorry to hear you experienced issues of the water whilst staying with us. I have spoken with our Head of Maintenance Department and he checked the water supply in your room following your departure and he assures me the water was of a high temperature/pressure. We carried out an investigation to other rooms...

The hotel is in an ideal spot for bars, restaurants and shopping. The rooms were under refurbishment and the room we were given was absolutely tiny, just enough room for a double bed and hardly any room to move, this was for a 3 day stay for two people. We ended up paying extra to be changed to a larger...

Thank you for your review. I am sorry to say I cannot agree with your comments. The online feedback survey goes straight to our Head Office and no member of site on site is able to access these surveys as we simply do not have the facilities to do so, so therefore we did not 'pull you' regarding your views...

We stayed here a while ago and it was great - location, room etc., however.... They have 're-furbished' the rooms. We were proudly informed by Reception that we were in one of the newly refurbished rooms! When we walk in it looked great, but the bed was covered in cushions with the texture of cardboard. There is nothing nice about...

Booked two rooms here and was not disappointed. The rooms we had were refurbished and we're just fantastic, great decor and furnishings. All the staff were really pleasant and always spoke with a smile, met the assistant manager, lainey, very helpful and a great team around, going to book here when back on business and having a break here for...

Stayed here over the Easter weekend as part of a surprise weekend away so this was booked by my boyfriend and it was a great choice. Although the hotel was undergoing renovations, this didn't affect our stay. The room had been recently refurbished and had everything you would expect. The staff were very pleasant and helpful.
