Popular pub and restaurant. We had good and tasty supper and breakfast. Staff very welcoming and helpful. Accommodation in separate specifically designed building. Spacious room with large en suite bathroom. Only negative was that the bed was uncomfortable

This is a pub with rooms in a separate building, so no cross contamination of noise etc. Ideal. The selection of real ales was most welcome, and the rooms were very comfortable & well appointed. Would go back if ever in the area.

If you're walking Hadrian's Wall this accommodation is brilliant. Right on the wall. Location, bedroom, food all excellent. Reasonably priced and there's a brewery next door! We stayed during Euro 2016 and they reserved us a table in front of the TV. Highly recommended

Great location just off Hadrian's Wall Path. Very attentive service with basic but clean and comfortable room. Also had dinner at the pub which was excellent. Would stay again and would recommend to others.

We were walking Hadrians Wall. This was our Sunday night stop, we arrived about 4pm and it was busy and noisy with children. The lodge where we stayed was clean and comfortable but we had to search for our luggage. Food cheap in price, basic but tasty. We were told there was no need to book a restaurant table but... More

Walked into the pub after a long days walk and was very pleased to find that rooms were available. A very pleasant lady was very helpful despite how very busy she and the restaurant was. I was greeted with a very clean and tidy room with everything I needed to rest up for the next day's continuing hike. Once cleaned... More

Had a 2 night stay in the cottage. Lovely spacious and clean room. Plenty of tea, coffee and biscuits plus a good supply of toiletries and clean towels. Ideal base to explore all that the surrounding countryside has to offer. Breakfast is extra but a sensibly priced continental option is available as well as cooked. My only gripe is the... More

My friend and I had a walk along the Keelmans Way.After being out in the fresh air for about 5 hours we were tired thirsty and hungry. We arrived at The Keelman's and asked for a table to have an early evening meal. The lady said we could eat upstairs as all the tables in the conservatory were booked. As it was... More
