room fine and clean breakfast was £11 each nothing mentioned about what was available. money just taken. Upon entering the dining room, no staff seen for 5 mins. people were sat down. eventually we were checked in. the self service buffet was non existent, it was bare, apart from bread, coffee tea and juice corn flakes no pastries, no fruit, no yoghurt, no smoothies a plate however of cheese and meat. a massive no no in any establishment is meat and cheese on same plate without customers request, not acceptable as same cutlery could be used . whoever did this needs sacking now. where is the buffet, covid is not an excuse- not even offered anything else not out cooked breakfast order was taken, it came and me and my brother just looked in horror . 1 how badly it was presented and 2 how small the offering was. no veggie sausages as requested 1 small hash brown, beans and 1 egg, not even tomatoes . other offering came with eggs, which my brother had said no, 1 lonely sausage 1 lonely bacon and beans, appalling effort now £11 is a lot for prob the worst breakfast in any hotel for over 40 years next night we stayed in hilton inn sunderland and payed £10 and everything was out and previously we had stayed in jurys inn in plymouth and more stuff was out , but this in newcastle was utter ridiculous, and appalling and frankly unacceptable. Service was dreadful too

Cashless check in needs to be made clear in booking info. All but one member of staff were absolutely great, very friendly and helpful. Very comfy bed, black out curtains, great night's sleep. Small but perfectly fine TV. Slightly dated bathroom but again, perfectly clean and functional. Everywhere was clean but more care needed when hoovering (getting in the dusty edges). Nice common areas, good looking bar.

Checked in at reception, staff were brilliant. Couldn’t fault customer service. Room was big and spacious, clean. But little sleep as guests were partying at 2am and it was very noisy. Woke up to strong smell of smoke, quite unpleasant. Manager did kick whoever it was out, but smell was very strong in the room. If I were to stay again I’d try and avoid popular nights out. Again, couldn’t fault the staff they were fab

I have stayed in this hotel a number of times for business. I would always stay here when coming to Newcastle. The car park is opposite the hotel. The Times Square car park is well lit and my car is always safe there. The hotel itself was very different to when i normally come here and that was because of COVID. The bar and restaurant was closed. Cereals and cooked breakfasts was available which was fine. The location is also close to the town centre. Plenty of places to eat if you fancy it. Also thank you letting me borrow a iPhone charger as I had left mine at home.
