Hi All, It was our bad luck that due to the Bank Holiday Rush ..... This hotel was the only option for us to book while travelling from Newcastle to Edinburgh. The only good bit about this hotel was that it has parking and some nice cafes & restaurant nearby. The bed sheet had stains, the flush in the toilet... More

Great value for money. Customer service excellent, very helpful reception. Rooms although small are well equipped and tastefully furnished. Shower is a 'wet' room and modern. Hotel does B&B in the form of Continental breakfast but no hot food. We used the hotel for an overnight stay and would certainly return. Dining out is easy. Short walk to the metro... More

Great little hotel, good prices great location. nice modern rooms. Reception staff not the greatest with information. Overall good stay nice quality. Nice comfortable beds and clean bathrooms. Nice handy for Jesmond bars but only a short taxi ride into Newcastle city centre. Would stay again

A bad stop-over to an otherwise wonderful city. It was definitely a bad decision to stay at this hotel. Our room was not in a state where you welcome new guests. The management should have done a basic inspection check before handing in the keys to us. Especially, if you are travelling with a 2+ year old child, you really... More

I booked a room here for the night after staying in the George hotel across the road for 1 night which was terrible!! but this hotel was much better. It was clean and quiet just what I wanted 👍🏻 There was an issue with a leaking shower but the manager was more than helpful letting us use the shower in... More

Being totally honest, nothing super special or remarkable about the hotel, but if you are not looking for luxury, don't need to be in the center of the city or can't find a much better deal, it's perfect. The the hotel was 3 blocks from the Metro (2 stops to downtown), the room was clean, the wifi was strong, the... More

My husband and I recently stayed here for a night, the hotel itself was nice and well kept, the room was good sized and clean throughout. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The only downside was we found that with mostly wooden furniture it was a bit creaky when we moved in bed or walked round the room. But... More

We stayed 3 nights and found that since our previous visit things have gone a bit downhill here. The public areas, especially the stairwells, need a good clean and then some paint. We wrote down 10 faults in our room, admittedly some very minor, but they each did make our stay a little less than enjoyable. For example, we had... More

Great location, with free parking in small parking or nearby on street parking. Very helpful and friendly staff, room small, perhaps in need of a lick of paint, but overall very comfortable nights sleep with a decent continental breakfast in the morning, I would use again.

The Newcastle Jesmond is in a good location, friendly welcome and nice single room though did change rooms due to an issue with the tap which was quickly resolved with no issues. The hotel doesn't have a bar but lots of places in walking distance.
