A friend and I stayed for 3 nights (midweek) in a twin room. The room was small but perfectly adequate. Everything worked fine. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff were unbelievably helpful and efficient. There was a good choice at breakfast (continental), and the 'full English' seemed to be served up extremely quickly. Nothing was too much trouble...

My partner and I stayed to nights at this hotel when we did a two night cruise to Amsterdam, On the outward stay we had a normal room which was a bit small, facing the back of the hotel, en-suite compact, quiet side of hotel, clean and serviceable. On the return journey we had booked a higher graded room facing...

I stayed in a room with no air con - make sure you ask for a room with air con because the ones that don't face onto a main road. This leaves the following options - be kept awake by jerks who can't drive or keep the window closed and sleep with a wet towel on your head. I did...

My husband and I stayed here got one night as we were watching cricket at Cheste-le-street over 2 days. Free car parking space opposite the hotel. Lovely twin bed room with a modern bathroom. Everything was clean and tidy. We stayed here in a Sunday night so there's wasn't any noise from the normally busy street below. Staff really friendly....

Decent hotel for an overnight stay, we had a deluxe room which was fairly modern and a good size. Location of hotel was good, plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. Free parking is included which is located just over the road from the hotel. Breakfast was OK, can't really have any complaints...

Stayed here for a week while working in Newcastle. The staff are great and really helpfully. The room I was in was ok but there must have been a generator room or something at the side and the on off buzzing from this kept me awake most nights and as they where busy I had to stay in the room...

I stayed here last night with my partner, we were meeting up with friends and their baby and they also stayed in the hotel. As many other reviews have said there is a damn mouldy smell in the lobby and corridors but they do their best and have lots of air freshners! We paid £50 for the room for the...

I booked the hotel for one night as I was taking my daughter to a show at the Metro Arena. Having read the good reviews I expected the room to be clean and comfortable. However, the room was very disappointing. It was at the back of the hotel with a "view" of the back alley. The air conditioning units were...

The rooms are basic but clean and comfortable, very friendly staff, great breakfast. Excellent location as we were going to a gig at Metro Arena and close to some great pubs and restaurants. Free parking is definitely an advantage.
