Stayed for a friends Stag Do with a group of 15. Rooms and facilities were perfectly adequate. Clean and Tidy. Breakfast was good and we were well looked after during the visit, despite being a rowdy group of lads and dads!

Rooms in desperate need of refurbishment. It rained during our visit resulting in water through the ceiling and into one bed and bag of clothing. Complaint made, no refund forthcoming. Breakfast reasonable. Overall barely suitable for a stag party.

Booked a stay here for one night with my other half for August Bank holiday for our usual jesmond jaunt. We have stayed in a few hotels on Osborne road and tend to find most of them are good value. I booked via booking.com and got a really good deal, you get exactly what you pay for. We paid approx... More

On first entering the hotel, the reception is a bar, you can smell old cooking oil. The manager shown us to our double room which was not what we expected to say the least. Paint peeling on walls, rotten window frames, stains on bed covers, marks on mattress base, view from window was not of the city as stated but a... More

We are a family with 2 adults, 2 seniors and 2 children. I did not realize that there is no elevator in this hotel. So it is quite troublesome to carry our luggages up to the room with 2 children. Our parents also have difficulty to climb up the stairs but luckily they are staying in 2nd level. We are... More

We stayed here in a triple room the night before a charity run. On arrival you go through the bar which is very dark and smells like a....well....an old bar. Not a great first impression. The man behind the bar was helpful however. We were on the top floor. The beds were ok. The room was clean enough. The bathroom... More

Stayed here as part of a hen party last weekend. Rooms definitely need a makeover - the furnishings are very dated, especially the bed, headboard and wardrobe area, the hairdryer is old and one of those you need to keep your finger pressed down for but works well all the same, carpet stained and iron burn on it. Bathrooms seem... More

The hotel is well located in a very nice area of Jesmond, but still easy to walk into the town centre. I phoned the hotel the day after we checked out to explain I left my iPhone charger in the room, the lady I spoke too was very helpful and retrieved it for me, great customer service, thank you.

Went here with a hen party last weekend, staff very welcoming and bar area lovely! Rooms are average, beds very comfortable to sleep in, although we did have a leak in the roof which we were pre-warned about, Didn't really bother us though! Breakfast was good and large selection each morning! Great for a hen party! No concerns at all... More
