Not my first experience of staying in chain but hotel delivered my expectations and receptionists were friendly and helpful, room was as expected and location was only a 10 minutes walk to main bars and quayside.

Ok, not everyone`s cup of tea but I cannot fault Newcastle Central. Perfect for Sage , City Center , ideal. Very busy place at times , this stay was during the Rugby League Tournament at St James. Great value, great atmosphere.

As this was our first stay in Newcastle i was very happy with the hotel and the fact they served food in bar area and also had a restaurant attached which served different types of food was a bonus, overall a very enjoyable stay

Catch the metro down to the central station. Then a 10 -15 min walk to the hotel. If you have cases, then probably a taxi would be better from the station
