We went there on a Friday night deal. The room was nice. The breakfast was nice. The spa didn't let you in on the day you checked out, which is unusual and I think cheeky. But the main issue was the dinner. The restaurant appears to have been taken over by people who aspire to Little Chef style dining. We...

We stayed overnight, as we were attending a Christmas party at the sister hotel in Liphook. When we walked into our room, it initially looked lovely: super kingsize bed, classy decor etc. However, there was no heating either before we went out for the evening or the next morning - the bedroom was warm enough, but the bathroom was too...

Our second visit and we still love this place. Great location in south Surrey Hills and next to the quaint (but still large enough to have shops etc) Haslemere. Nice location beside ponds and a forest (with walking paths). Just a nice place to relax. Had a nice meal in their Tudor style pub overlooking the pond. Good service and...

We wanted to get away for the night and find a hotel that ticked all the boxes. This certainly did. The staff were excellent, friendly and helpful. The location was magnificent with amazing views. Plenty of local rural walks. The spa facility was fantastic. Large pool to do proper lengths sauna and wet room plus Jacuzzi. We used the gym...

I'm disappointed in this hotel- I booked a twin room for my friend and I for one night. The room was lovely - however, there are not enough plugs in the room. The tea and coffee facilities are on a table near the window with no plug for the kettle. We ate out locally as the hotel restaurant was fully...

Have been coming here for a number of years and was very pleasantly surprised by the makeover the place is getting. All the rooms in the new building have been renovated and are quite luxurious. There has been a considerable investment in the place. The old 14th century building is having a major makeover with a lot of new timbers...

Lovely venue, welcoming staff, and beautiful area for a night away. The Spa is average, diner was great, but breakfast average again. Very comfy bed and chairs in both restaurant and breakfast room but the biggest downer was that we could hear the TV next door all night long (thank goodness not something else!), so not much sleep to be...

A lovely venue BUT spoiled by refurbishment in the room: paint smell/ poor quality furnishing in room/ non working bath plug / various items forgotten- tea bags and shower gel for example / same meal ordered but not remotely identical on two nights running / fairly customer unfriendly breakfast manager / no latte/ cappuccino hot choc at breakfast / no...

What a lovely place for a night away. We spent Sunday there for my husbands 50th birthday treat. Spa was lovely and relaxing, room was newly decorated and the Restaurant was very nice too. Food was top class. We will return soon.
