Stayed here for two nights on business trip. It's a comfortable detached house in nice residential area, a stiff walk from town. Breakfast on final day was excellent - make sure you order scrambled eggs the night before. The owner was charming and attentive at all times. Parking is in the road outside, but you will have to arrange to...

We stayed for 2 weeks in May, and really enjoyed the accommodations, which were very clean and comfortable. The breakfasts, especially the coddled eggs, were a real treat. The owner/manager was a very interesting, helpful, and friendly hostess. The house was full of fascinating artifacts from her trips abroad, all of which have a story attached. The gardens were spectacular....

Plaegan House offers top-notch bed and breakfast accommodation, within walking distance of Guildford town centre and British Rail station, all amenities in the room, (including a fridge/microwave/crockery and cutlery). Books and travel info also provided. Comfortable and relaxing environment and very friendly owner. Highly recommended.

We visited this b&b in nov2015 and stayed 4 days with our 5 years old child. It`s a typical English building, very clean and well kept by Mrs Philips, the madame who manages the house. She is very kind and gave us lots of helpful touristic hints, she always left us fresh milk and butter cookies. It`s also available English...

Great choices for breakfast and room also had fridge, coffee and tea making plus a microwave. Walking distance to the train station and downtown and bus service just up the street if...

Despite being within half a mile or so of the centre of Guildford, this quiet B&B on the shoulder of the Hog's Back was a real find. Each room is ensuite and has a fridge as well (very useful). There are two B&B rooms (both twin if I remember correctly) and next to each other. The other rooms are on...

This B & B is walking distance from the station. It is a beautiful house, lovely garden and the cleanest place we have ever stayed in. We were made to feel right at home. Nothing was too much trouble. We were given a map of how to get around town, and umbrellas as it was raining our first evening there....

I went to Plaegan House B&B in April with my family because we had to spend just few days in Guildford since it was my graduation day. A friend of mine recommended the place so I booked quite early -back in January- as my friend told me that the B&B was lovely but had -unfortunatelly- few rooms. Moreover, generally speaking,...

Found this place through your Trip Advisor. Had to look on Google for Full Detail for contact. Very welcoming by Roxanne the owner. Stayed here as all the other places were full up or well over priced for 2 nights. Walking distant to the town centre including the station. Parking outside the house or anywhere down the road does have...

I stayed at Plaegan house last week to give myself a break from the commute. It was a really enjoyable stay. I was impressed by how welcoming and yet professional I found it there. I had everything I needed in my room (including wifi and food/drink facilities, it was spotlessly clean and yet homely, the bonus was that it had...

“Front double has two single beds, 2 comfy chairs and an en suite. Rear double has enormous double bed also with comfy chairs and en suite and looks out over a gorgeous garden, green field, and Guildford in the distance. Have used both rooms on different occasions, and beds are comfortable in both. Flatscreen TV's, Usual tea and coffee facilities etc. Double glazing to windows - with good level of 'black-out' from thick curtains and blinds providing nice dark bedroom to sleep.”
