We stayed two nights as part of a wedding event where the reception was held in the upstairs restaurant and the service in the church up the road. The rooms are large (we had a junior suite but the kids room was also big enough for a small seating area) and well furnished. The hotel is right in the centre... More

Very clean and well furnished. I personally also enjoyed the floral textiles throughout. Lovely bathroom too. Pillows and mattress very soft - which again I enjoyed greatly but perhaps not for everyone. I have a bad back and it didn't cause cause me any issues. The bar upstairs looked a little bit weird so we didn't visit this but Guildford... More

We stayed a night on our way to our holiday destination, booking late through Trivago and managing cheaper than the chains. We had difficulty finding it as Guildford's one way system is baffling in the dark and we missed a turning several times. However, it was a good find when we got there. Parking was about 100m away in the... More

i think the hotel is mediocre. It desperately wants refurbishing. it was how i imagine being evacuated during the war and the layout is a joke/ the only way i got out in the morning was via the fire door, ending up with a great big suitcase in some blind alley. to make it worse the beloved council are ripping... I thought the hotel was really pretty very comfortable and staff great but a lot of noise from the alley way to the side of the hotel not sure if this was from the restaurant below the hotel or coffee house to side

We took two rooms, a deluxe double and the Charlotte Suite. Both were beautiful - comfy beds, immaculate high spec and spacious en-suites. The hotel itself is really special, bursting with history and the location was right in the centre of the buzzing high street, full of restaurants and high end shops. We would definitely return.

Have stayed at the Angel Posting House a number of times and in a range of the different rooms. Some of the rooms are nicer than others but each time we have found it noisy. If we stay at the front of the hotel then there are deliveries at like 6am in the morning, if at the back of the... More

Booked this hotel as a base to meet up with my team. I wanted somewhere central in Guildford that was reasonably priced and this measured up to that criteria. Have mixed feelings about my stay but overall thought it was good better than average but just misses the very good although I have said that it is. There is not... More

Good location in the centre of Guldford. Be aware that the Bills resturant does not open for breakfast until 0900 at weekends. In bath shower is a challenge without a shower screen or holder. Room was clean but bed soft.

We wanted a central Guildford Hotel when we visited for our Daughters graduation from University of Surrey. We were delighted to be upgraded to the Bridal suite which was spacious and well appointed. The large bed was very comfortable. Unfortunately the first floor room was above an alley with a bar and the hotel kitchen opening into it. This meant... More
