I stayed one night in the beautiful hotel, very good rooms, just refurbished and very comfortable. We enjoyed an evening meal, a fantastic breakfast and lunch the following day. They brew their own beer on site, top marks all round.

Lovely little pub nestled in a quiet location. Stayed for one night. Evening meal consisted of vegetable soup, pheasant breast to start and to follow lamb curry on cous cous and crab and prawn linguine. Breakfast was spot on SO TASTY!

Finally Coldharbour is open for business. Excellent new Artisan Shop next door to the attractive Pub that is superb for coffee, cakes, breads, and high quality local fruit and veg. All locally sourced! Very welcoming to road and mountain-bikers. The Telephone box will even store bike tools from December! Well done to the Plough Inn and Shop by tastefully opening... More

Stopped in this afternoon for a quick coffee and flapjack while riding through Surrey. The service was great, the coffee was excellent and the flapjack was tasty. Highly recommended if you're riding to Box Hill. I also noticed they sell spare inner tubes and water bottles. Great touch!

sunday lunch was a poor affair. you take your order to the bar but after that you may get served. luke warm main which was cold by the time the long awaited vegetables arrived. mint sauce is straight from the jar. fatty and grisly lamb and just what have they done to the Yorkshire pudding. it is a tasteless crisp.

This place has new management and has been recently refurbished. And now it is a great place to stop off for a drink and bite to eat if venturing up Leith Hill by car, foot, or bike. The staff were friendly and attentive. The menu, while limited, caters for all. The food is very good quality. We particularly liked the... More

Visited The Plough Inn last night (27th August 2016) for the first time in several years. What a transformation following a total refurbishment finished in July of this year! A visit that made me feel warm, welcoming and relaxed. Really cosy layout of areas which must have cost a small fortune but it all works. Beer is good and the... More

A well known country pub with its own micro-brewery, in a nice location at the foot of Leith Hill. Taken over by new owners (about a year ago?). Redesigned, now predominantly dining tables. Nothing fancy, just wooden tables with wooden chairs. Still brewing its own two beers, Crooked Furrow and one now known as Smiler's Happiness, named after a popular... More

This pub is ideally situated on the way to Leith Hill and was very popular with walkers and cyclists, with a lovely garden. Unfortunately the new owners are turning it into a gastro pub.We called in at Sunday lunchtime looking for a sandwich to be told that they only serve full lunches on Sundays. Then we found the beer garden... More
