This B&B is a wonderful very old house. We had selected the garden room which is a new building in the grounds with access to a sunny patio that is great for having a cup of tea at the end of the day. Garden room was spacious, very light and quiet with a lovely comfy bed. Shower room was good.... More

I am from Australia but stayed here for 2 nights with my two sisters. We have frequently been here throughout our lives & had many a photo taken on the doorstep of 'number 30' as we called it, but this was first time we had actually been able to go inside. We stayed in South Hall as this had a... More

I stayed here in April 2015, it was my second visit here, and we had a very enjoyable weekend. Sarenka made us very comfortable with home-made biscuits and cake, and her breakfasts are legendary. I slept very well in South Hall, and one of the best things about Hill House Hall is the location, as it is only a short... More

As the church bells rang while we layed in bed looking up at the wall painting on the Sunday morning of our departure, we knew we didnt want to leave! We could not fault this beautiful place! From the moment we walked accross the worn down steps at the front door and into the medieval Wealdon Hall, we were in... More

This amazing house dates back to the mid 1300's and original features abound! Lovingly restored by Sarenka and her partner, expect wonky floors, wattle and daub, low beams, a lovely old cat and a fantastic breakfast of local produce and homemade jams. Sarenka made us feel at home and was more than happy to spend time showing us the historical... More

I couldn't fault it on comfort, cleanliness, character, location and hospitality - Sarenka was very generous with her time and a lively hostess. But at £100 per night I think it's OK to be a bit fussy over the coffee which was a bit 'stewed' and not a cafetiere - as is normal in good B & B s these days.... More

Recently stayed for the third time at our favourite B&B. This time we were accommodated in the new garden room which was well appointed, extremely comfortable and with views of the lovely garden. As usual Sarenka was very wel coming and effortlessly cooks a fantastic breakfast, with ingredients mainly sourced locally. The locally baked fresh bread was really tasty. Sarenka... More

This beautiful establishment, steeped in history and supemely well-located,is as good as it gets! Sarenka, the owner, could not possibly be more welcoming or hospitable.
