We booked a night stay here after great reviews and weren't disappointed.
The room was very spacious with a large ensuite.
We were greeted by Bobbie the owner, who was lovely.
Only a short walk to Newmarket High Street, we thoroughly recommended staying here.

Exceptional hospitality and a good breakfast. Room was bright and airy with plenty of storage. Nice touches like bottles of water, nice biscuits and toiletries. Good location with easy access to train station and a short (flatish) walk into town.

Most of what I would say has been expressed by other visitors. I have seldom encountered such attention to detail in what is essentially a Bed and Breakfast establishment.Bobbies standards are very high indeed and we look forward to staying here again after this our first visit. What elevates the experience is that if you are a horse lover or a racing enthusiast your stay becomes unique because you are likely to meet a number of like-minded people as we did and this makes things so much more enjoyable.Coupled with this ,Conrad took me to his stables and out on the Newmarket gallops and I came away much more aware of the racing community and the pressures on them. Its also very handy for the tour of Newmarket,National Stud,Tattersalls........all being within a short walk of the town centre.Highly recommended.

We found it to be so friendly, clean comfortable, excellent breakfast, tea coffee cakes to enjoy.Close to Tattersalls, the Museum and best of all The Gallops, which is a 5 min car ride. The Ntional Stud is about a 10 min drive up the road.If you are there for the horses the owners of the B/B, Bobby and Conrad will tell you everything you wish to know! Be up at the Gallops between 6-7am and you will see the most fantastic horses and some of their trainers up to around 11am.Fabulous time.

My husband and I have stayed at Byerley House on several occasions when in Newmarket for the racing. The B&B is excellently situated for the High Street (although far enough away to avoid any late night noise), the rooms are excellent in size and cleanliness and the owners Bobbie and Conrad are friendly, helpful hosts. Breakfast is always delicious and is served promptly with a smile ... definitely the best B&B we have stayed in!

This is a Lovely B&B and we will be staying again, Far better than staying in the usual chain of not so budget hotels.
We stayed just one night whilst visiting family, We felt right at home from the moment we arrived and our room was just perfect everything you could need - a home from home.
The breakfast was excellent and the whole family were a real pleasure to meet.
We will be back on our next family visit to Newmarket without a doubt.
Have a Great Christmas everyone at Byerley House

Byerley House was a lovely place to stay. The hosts (Bobbie and Conrad) were very friendly (as was Pippa the dog) and super helpful! Excellent full English breakfast served. Rooms were spacious and charming, with amenities you'd expect at a much more expensive hotel. Location is ideal - close to train station, High Street, and Tattersalls. Would recommend this highly and hope to return in the future.
