At a wedding in Long Melford and wanted a couple of nights. Had a look on Trip Advisor and Booking.com and decided to book this B&B for two nights. We weren't dissappointed. John and Ronnie are lovely hosts and the breakfasts are gorgeous. Very tasty. Beds are very comfortable. If we come back here for a christening will definitely book... More

We stayed for two nights and loved the breakfast and 15th century surroundings. The other reviews reflect its charms and facilities and we don't regret the visit and friendliness of our dear hostess, Veronica. As another reviewer stated: it was disappointing that the room was not made-up/cleaned overnight, the cups not washed or the towels refreshed. I would also suggest... More

We stayed one night at the Denmark House and found both the house and the hostess very charming. The room with the double bed is on the small side but the everything else was top notch. A wonderful tea room across the street for lunch and several pubs within walking distance made it a very easy place to stay.

We stayed at two other places during our trip to East Anglia..Denmark House was a Joy! Firstly you are not just staying at a 'Guest House' you are living 'with the Garbetts'! It is an experience. A superb period half timbered Suffolk town house..attention to detail..comfort..atmosphere and excellent food! What more can I say......we will return!!

We have just returned from this B&B, having decided to make a long weekend out of a friends' Birthday celebrations at Kentwell Hall just up the road. The hosts couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful. We had the double room, which was a little on the small side, but we didn't stay in much, so it didn't matter! There... More

Stayed for a single night during a stopover for a nearby wedding. The listed house is conveneintly set on the main street yet is pleasantly quiet; inside it is quaint with exposed beams and has a very cosy and relaxed atmosphere. Our hosts couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful and made us feel at home at once with a... More

Just back from yet another wonderful weekend at Denmark House . We couldn't have wished for more. Veronica and John are the most helpful and friendly host that you could wish for. Nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are beautifully clean and have every thing you need for a very comfortable stay. Breakfast couldn't have been better. Hope to... More

Stayed for 2 nights on a short cycling trip in Suffolk. We were allowed to use the garage to store the bikes and the hosts were very friendly and accommodating. It is a character building in the centre of an attractive Suffolk town/village. The breakfast was excellent in a very pleasant dining area adjacent to the kitchen. It was disappointing... More

Booked in for 2 nights. John and Veronica are the best hosts. The ensuite twin-bedroom is beautifully furnished. The oak beams really add to the period feel of this lovely old house, conveniently located on the high street. Breakfast is fit for a King, and if you were so inclined the sheer size and choice of it would see you... More

I stayed in this lovely B&B for only one night. The room was lovely, tea and coffee makings were provided along with some nice biscuits. Breakfast was delicious. The owners helpfully allowed me to store my bicycle in their garage so it didn't have to stay outside.
