We stayed for one night to attend a Ruby Turner concert at The Apex. The rooms were in a small block outside the main building opposite the small parking area. The room was small but with a comfy bed, hairdryer, coffee facilities and ironing board. Slept well but walls paper thin, which is handy if you plan to have breakfast with the...

This was a great place to stay! We received a very friendly welcome and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. The room was very comfortable and the bathroom facilities were very good, with a great shower. The choice and quality of food for dinner and breakfast were excellent and I would definitely stay here again!

I ate and had the bangers and mash and it was out of this world. My friend had the pulled pork burger and that...

The bushel is a nice pub/hotel in a great location if you want to visit bury st Edmunds, within walking distance to the main town, (and local cinema)! Loved the old quirky decor and the food was very nice. The big plate fish and chip platter was really nice and so was our inclusive breakfast!

We booked our Christmas lunch a good few months ahead so we were really looking forward to it. Our table was booked for 2pm but we were told it was ours for the day so arrived almost an hour early. We were told to take a seat and someone would take our drink order shortly. After a lengthy wait I...

We stayed at 'The Bushel' for one night whilst visiting friends in Bury St Edmunds. The check in was officially 3pm, however on arrival we found that our room was ready at 1pm and we were shown to our room where we were able to drop our bags off and set off looking around the historic town until we met...
