We love the Brudenell Hotel. A great situation, and friendly, helpful and efficient staff. Always enjoy staying there. But .. .we noticed this time that the restaurant isn't so good. We ate dinner twice and had two cooked breakfasts, and the same mediocrity was there in all of them. Breakfast pancakes that were heavy and fatty; at dinner, a couple...

We generally visit Aldeburgh at least once a year and usually stay at the other end of the town. We had been looking at the Brudenell and as our usual was shut for refurbishment decided to give it go. Good decision! The hotel has been refurbished to a high standard. The reception, lounge and bar areas are lovely, all with...

The main reason we stayed here for our one night Saturday night break to Aldeburgh was because other places didn't allow one night stays on weekends ....always soooooo annoying. I was a bit worried it was going to be a stock standard big boring hotel but it was just what we needed. Might have tried the restaurant had we been...

Really lovely hotel with a top class restaurant including a gin menu (v on trend) But really it's all about the position and view. Saw seals from our sea front room. Downside is breakfast finishes 9.30. Now some folks may like this but we had none for 2 days as we prefer a brisk walk first thing before we eat....

Visit often as Mum has a cottage here so it is our fave place for lunch, dinner or just a pot of tea. Always good service, great food, and a lovely view. Plenty on the menu to choose from if your not into their speciality fish dishes.

Went for lunch on a pretty damp and dull day. Despite this, the views from the Seafood and Grill restaurant over the beach were lovely and the food was great. The menu is comprehensive, the wine selection very good and reasonably priced and the service was attentive without being intrusive - simply impeccable.

After a hectic Christmas and New Year our two day break at the Brudenell was just the ticket! Comfortable, relaxing and delicious food with charming staff at all times. Lovely room with sea view, like being on a cruise. Only slight hitch was narrowness of bathroom door which meant husband's wheelchair couldn't get in. We were offered disabled friendly room...

Oh - I love it here:-) Great for a relaxing break. The location, staff, rooms and food are excellent. There's a really friendly vibe around the place. The situation is to die for - right on the coast - you can have breakfast overlooking the sea in the morning and cozy up in the lounge area in the evening. It's...
