Had a lovely nights stay in this B & B , very comfortable king size bed and very quiet peaceful room. Julian was a very friendly host and very welcoming. The b & b was a few minutes walk into the beautiful town. We intend to return in the summer.

Not sure you could ask for much more from a B&B....warm welcome, comfy beds, great breakfast. Would highly recommend if staying in Aldeburgh. Only thing to say is that I don't think the photos on the website reflect how nice our room actually was (we stayed in Avocat). Would stay again.

Really enjoyed a weekend at Danes house with a friend, Jeremy was a charming and welcoming host and the accomodation was very comfortable, with luxury bathroom. Quiet location and peaceful house, too. The layout ensures that guests do not disturb each other, but it is nice to meet over a delicious breakfast. Would highly recommend and definitely stay again. Thanks,...

Can't add much new to previous reviews of this comfortable and welcoming B&B. Stayed in Lapwing Room with access to garden, comfortable bed and huge bathroom. Jeremy a helpful and friendly host. Breakfast great, sat around a big table with the other guests. Aldeburgh in Britten's centenary year is well worth a visit, especially now the wonderful Red House is...

We wanted a one night stay in Aldeburgh (visiting a relative) and almost made a booking at the White Lion when I decided to do a search to see if there were any B & B's at a more reasonable price. I am so glad I came across Dane's House. It is superb and well-located barely 5 minutes' walk down...

Returning to Danes House was like visiting a friend, we again had the larger Gallery Room and enjoyed excellent hospitality, great breakfasts and comfort. This B & B is ideally situated for the town within walking distance, as long as you are ok with some steps meaning you can park easily here avoiding the congestion of the Main Street and...

Jeremy is so accommodating that, when he could not find a taxi to take us to the train station in Saxmundham, he drove us himself (20 minutes one way)! Much care and thought have gone into making the stay a pleasant one. Luxurious towels and pillows; bathrooms to a very high standard. Breakfast (cooked to order) include a full English...

We stayed the weekend at Danes House B&B and were delighted with the place. We were visiting Aldeburgh for a friend's wedding. Our room was spacious with good facilities and the bed was very comfortable. The en-suite bathroom was HUGE and very impressive.
