If you have been invited here by someone who has eaten here previously, then choose to eat exactly what they're eating and you'll be fine. Don't choose that sticky chilli sauce on anything. Unfortunately I chose the prawn torpedoes. Well was it me? Was surprised when curled up prawns in thick batter arrived. Looked on search engine and prawn torpedoes... More

Was on a family trip to the Teesside and went with my Cousin for an early evening drink and to give the kids a run around in the beer garden, they absolutely loved the play equipment they had there, and cos it was enclosed we could relax a bit and enjoy a nice glass of wine.

Stopped up here with work last week, would rather stay above a pub than in a Travelodge. Room was really swish for the money and had a cracking cooked breakfast, will definitely be back next time up here

We chose this establishment for a one night stop over on recommendation from a local friend. We found the rooms be decorated to a nice standard and very clean the beds which usually lets most places down were very comfortable in The Parkwood. The building is full of character and is finished to a high standard throughout. We had a... More

So good to have something a bit lighter and different on a hot day . Will definitely be back ... Staff very friendly and beers good. Lovely garden but too hot to sit outside. Would have been nice to have a salad on the menu .. And a few more veggies with the platter.

Visited the Parkwood as a party of 8. Beautiful place, very friendly staff and nice atmosphere. We got a variety of meals including salmon linguine, very nice. Mince and dumplings, very nice. And two New York burger..... Terrible. You can sell a burger as impressively as you like but if you don't get the actual burger right, what's the point.... More
