Stayed here whilst attending a wedding nearby. Having phoned ahead saying we were hungry, a huge platter of sandwiches was prepared for us - for which we were not even charged at checkout (despite pointing out the omission on our bill). Amazingly helpful people run this lovely B&B, ferrying us to the reception ceremony and picking all their guests up...

My husband and I and our 2 young children stayed here for 2 nights whilst we attended my cousins wedding. My sister and her little girl and my Mum and her partner also stayed at the same time and we were all hugely impressed with Chris and Reg and all that they do for their guests. From the moment we...

Tried to book via hotel's own website for 3 nights as attending wedding at Ashes. Came to this site because of recommendation on Ashes website. Busy busy professional person so limited time to attend to these matters. Found only 1room left on selected dates for selected options. Spent an hour trying to book online, but booking function broken down. Called...

I was truly shocked to see this "review" from someone who has never visited Westfields and does not have any acquaintance with myself nor my wife Chris. I feel that the bluff "false urgency" reflected in the words of this review says much more about the reviewer than it does about Westfields or our systems or processes. I was called...

The previous comments helped us to make Westfields our overnight stay whilst visiting family in Burslem. Our own feelings, following the one night stay, endorse all of what has been said. Excellent room; great breakfast and friendly hosts who both made themselves known to us. The room quality is high with nice extra's, all making our stay most perfect. Can...

We left this morning, having stayed 2 nights, for my sister's wedding at The Ashes; with hugs and smiles and so much thanks to Chris and Reg for all of their help. As my mum and I were doing the flowers for the wedding and we don't live local, we needed somewhere to prepare the bouquets etc. - Chris and...

My partner, young daughter and I stayed at Westfields last night. The hosts, Christine and Reg, were very welcoming and went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. We attended a wedding at The Ashes nearby (5 minutes drive, very close) and our hosts were kind enough to transport us there and back. Anything we...

Stayed here with my boyfriend in July because my cousin got married at The Ashes - I was a bridesmaid. We had a very warm welcome and the room was lovely - perfect in fact! The B&B was nice and peaceful. I had to go separately to the venue in preparation for the wedding but my boyfriend was taken to...

We stayed here for a wedding in August, we didn't get much time at the house but the hosts were lovely and ever so helpful. Lifts to the Ashes were a real bonus and loved the oat pancake at breakfast, just perfect.

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights whilst attending a wedding at The Ashes. The B&B is perfectly located just down the road from the Ashes ... which is just a few minutes drive away. Lovely room and house. Personally I would prefer a firmer bed .. but that is just my preference. Breakfast was great - make...

We stayed here for one night for our niece's Wedding on 16th August, what a delightful Guest House and what delightful hosts. Chris and Reg transported all of us both to and from the Venue (the Ashes) which was really kind of them as the return journey was for 12 of us that meant two journeys for Reg which we...
