We have stayed at the Vine several times as we have business deals in the area. The hotel has undergone a refurb with new beds and bedding. Very comfortable, we had a very good night's sleep. We ate in the restaurant that evening. Service was a bit slow but worth the wait. Breakfast was enjoyable too setting us up for...

I stayed at the Vine for one night as I was on business locally the following morning. The room was clean, comfortable and big enough for one person. The reception staff were very efficient and the hotel has a free car park. The breakfast menu was very limited and ok if you want a fry up but not great if...

I spent three nights at this hotel recently. The reception staff were busy talking to each other, I was left waiting, not good after a long journey. I asked for help as the staircase I was shown was steep, spiral with a fire door on a spring (which I understand the need for) at the very top of the top...

My sister and I stayed here for 4 nights. I arrived and found the car park at the rear of the hotel - The barrier was down and there did not appear to be any way to get in - I drove round to the front of the hotel and had to park on double yellow lines while I ran...

Yes just to say I found the vine a bit "tired and dated'.Found the staff very pleasant but accommodation average. The breakfast was again average so all in all my total opinion is average. The place itself is very easy to find as it is in the middle of the town centre. As I'm not a driver I cannot give my opinion regarding...

Thank you for your recent feedback. The Vine Hotel is the oldest pub in Stafford so we do have old beams and a country inn feel. We are currently looking into breakfast and how we can make this better for all guest/customers. Regards Management

Enjoyed my visits to this very convenient and centrally located hotel. Ideal for both business or pleasure (always pleasure in my case now thankfully!) within Stafford, or indeed for staying in whilst searching out what the county also has to offer? I found the Vine a quiet, (as I like it, but this was probably just due to the time...
