We are totally NOT exaggerating when we say that staying at Liz' place is an extremely enjoyable experience! Her full breakfast served up on brand new " Art de Cuisine " china is a delight. Our room spotless and bright not to mension the bed in which we slept like a log. Liz is a very sagacious and fascinating lady...

Lovely landlady Liz has the perfect attribute of making guests feel at home. Accommodation is far above average and food is top class. Back to Wells then back Liz. Liz provides breakfasts to suit every taste and caters for every allergy. Location is perfect for all types of visits particularly Willey hole &caves.

Such a pleasant experience staying here, wish it had been for more than one night. Charming hostess; spotlessly clean, comfortable and quiet room with en-suite finished to a very high standard; and a great English breakfast to start the day.

Thank you so much for your kind words. You both had quite a gruelling weekend and I hope the voices stood up to it. The choirs brought in to the Cathedral during Cathedral School holidays always have such a good reputation and I very much hope you enjoyed it - such a long way to come! With my best wishes....

me and my husband had only stayed here for a night, but thoroughly enjoyed it! very 'homely' home, full of character, cosy, impeccably clean, tastefully decorated (no cheap plastic fixtures and ornaments), quiet, great location and, of course, excellent breakfast. The host was friendly and helpful. would love to stay here again

Nah - I don't like plastic flowers either and if I had ornaments, it would mean having to dust them!!!! Thank you very much for your kind words and for taking the trouble to post a review. Do come back!! With regards. Liz Evans

Had a lovely stay here for a weekend. Ideally situated within a short walk into the City Centre. The landlady was lovely, so friendly, couldn't have been more helpful and made you feel comfortable. Breakfast was very well prepared and cooked.

What a pleasure. We stoped here for 2 nights. No 23 is spotlessly clean, we had a room at the back of the property which was peaceful and quiet during the night. It had a large en suite bathroom which I'm guessing was once the family bathroom of the house but is now well incorporated into the room. Comfortable bed...

Happy from the moment we stepped through the door! The room (no 3) was nicely decorated, bright and had really comfortable beds!
