LOVELY,lovely, place to stay - just a short walk in to Wells so quiet and peaceful, excellent breakfast with an en-suite room so clean and of a very good size. Jackie, owner and cook gave us a great welcome and was very helpful - would love to go back - would recommend to all -

We have stayed with Jackie on at least 3 occasions now following events we attend in Wells every year. She is so warm and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble for her. Wells is a beautiful little city with lots to explore and see.

Our room was very large with everything you needed. The location was very good and Jackie was very at tentative and we found many things to laugh at. We would definately recommend to others and use again if in the area.

Nothing was too much trouble, and she was a happy, helpful, hospitable host. Our room was very spacious, with a large very comfortable bed, super en suite bathroom, and... More

We stayed for just 1 night on our way to Devon and we were delighted with the service and comfort here. Jackie was very welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable with a choice of feather pillows/quilt or synthetic (my husband is allergic to feathers). We both commented that Jackie had thought of absolutely everything. The delicious breakfast was cooked... More

The rooms are spotlessly clean and towels are white and fluffy. It is within walking distance of the city with... More

We stayed here for one night while on a walking tour in Somerset. We arrived early as we wanted to explore Wells but got drenched en route. Jackie was happy to make our room available so that we could change and leave our stuff. The room was large and spotlessly clean with a good-sized en suite. The house is very... More
