Thanks so much for taking the time to review our site and we're delighted to hear you enjoyed your stay. The cycle trip to Glastonbury is certainly one of our favourites... just 5 miles away and completely flat on National Cycle Route No 3. Please come back and see us soon, young Alice will soon be big enough to pedal her own bike! Best wishes Duncan & Mary

Unreasonable & unethical behaviour from the management. Booked a week’s stay for Glastonbury 2019. Greenacres advertise on their twitter that they are fully booked for Glastonbury but welcome people to be added to a waiting list in case of cancellations. Justifiable

Just to be clear Jordan, you have never stayed at our site, nor do you really know anything about it, or us as owners. As you state, you made a booking for 2 people for the Glastonbury Festival period. When making your reservation, you were provided with a copy of the booking Terms and Conditions and required to accept them as a condition of us accepting your booking, which you duly did. Those terms set out clearly the cancellation policy which will apply and the circumstances where refunds will be available. They also contain a clear recommendation that you take out cancellation insurance, to cover any losses from a need to cancel in "exceptonal circumstances" (although I honestly doubt that "falling out with my girlfriend" would qualify). You had not "paid for a ticket", you had made an initial part-payment, as per the booking terms. When you called us on 1st April you demanded a full refund and were not prepared to listen to anything else. When this was not forthcoming you told us you didn't wish to cancel, you would instead find someone else to take your place. Despite the booking terms being clear about not being transferable, in your case we agreed to this as a goodwill gesture, in an effort to treat you fairly. That was the last we heard on the matter until your cancellation email arrived a couple of days ago. To conclude, we are sorry to hear that you are disappointed, but re-iterate that our cancellation policy is fair, clear, available to all, and you agreed to it. Furthermore, we went the additional mile to try to help your situation. Sadly it seems it was not enough.

Just returned from a 6 nights stay at Greenacres and what a little gem this site is, with very friendly owners. This site is great and safe for kids to just go enjoy themselves and make friends. We stayed over a busy wet/muddy bank holiday weekend and not once did we have to

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience of Greenacres and some of Somerset's best attractions, although there's still plenty of places left to visit next time! A wet week with children can often be a challenge, but we're delighted that you didn't let that get you down & enjoyed such a lovely holiday. We look forward to welcoming you all back very soon.

We have now stayed twice at this campsite and will definitely return. This is a fantastic family friendly site. Exactly the type of campsite we like, lots of safe space for the children to run about in and make friends. There is a lovely park with wendy houses. No cars are
