My wife, fourteen year old son and I have been living in the UK for several months, and we needed to stay in Glastonbury to attend a friend's lecture. Fortunately, my wife, after combing the internet for places to stay, found Parsnips--with its immaculately clean, sumptuously bedded rooms. We stayed two nights here, and our location was convenient to everything--as...

Lynda and Lloyd were fantastic hosts, fresh milk everyday for drinks in your room, so none of those awful milk cartons, that was such a treat. Paul and I stayed for 5 nights and throughly enjoyed every minute. The location was fantastic for me as it was so near to Chalice Well gardens and Tor. Ive stayed at Glastonbury many...

Lynda & Lloyd are superb hosts. Lloyd makes wonderful breakfasts with the secret ingredient - taste! Breakfasts are taken in the Conservatory which looks out onto their attractively designed garden, trees and sky - very restful with Classic FM playing in the background. There is a comfortable residents' lounge too. Lynda is just such a happy & caring person who...

The owner, Linda Parsons, was very friendly. The food was very good and plenty of it. The B&B is between 5 & 10 mins walk into the middle of Glastonbury. The room was beautifully decorated, very clean and very warm. there was a freeview TV and an on suite shower room. I cant fault it.

My husband and I stayed here for one Friday night on my birthday which was also the day we moved out of our house and into storage as there was a delay on the purchase of our new home. We were completely exhausted after an extremely hectic and emotional week. Lynda's welcome was really friendly and just what we needed....

“Best rooms are at rear if property due to busy road at the front. I would choose St. John's Suite personnaly.”

“If you are easily disturbed by traffic, and you have a choice, try to have one of the rooms at the back of the house.”

“The 'Tor' Room does overlook a junction which can be noisy at times. However, the curtains are very heavy and blocks out the any light from the street lights and helps muffle any outside noise. This room is fine if you sleep well-heavy, but my friend is a fairly light sleeper and did not feel at all disturbed during the night.”
