Old Oaks Touring Park is the best we have been to. Friendly staff, immaculate huge pitches and wonderful views. The food on site from The Lavender Country Kitchen was superb, hog roast and the breakfast is a must. I would highly recommend this site.

We decided to stay at oaks as it came highly recommended by a friend and we couldn’t have picked anywhere better to be honest! All the staff are super friendly and helpful and all go above and beyond to make sure their guests have the best experience. The whole park and all it’s facilities are brilliantly well kept. We stayed in a shepherds hut with a hot tub it also had a fire pit, lots of outdoor seating and it came fully equipped with everything we needed! They also have a very well stocked shop with everything you could possibly need during your trip from food to games to toiletries - we ordered a few bits on the app called ‘hopt’ and by the time we walked over to their shop they had it all ready for us to collect. Stunning scenery with every turn, very peaceful and relaxing! All the other guests were very friendly too! Lots had dogs with them and what I can say is if you’re thinking of bringing your dog do it!!! The park is extremely dog friendly with a secure dog exercise area and dog showers to use. The Glastonbury Tor is literally right on the door step and it’s a short drive to cheddar gorge and other beautiful attractions!

Really well spaced out beautifull site, with nice big pitches. Spotlessly clean unfottunately we couldn't use the showers due to covid. The site has a well stocked shop selling lovely local produce, the eggs are amazing. Had a great stay and can't wait to return.

Old Oaks is situated in the heart of the beautiful Somerset countryside, there are stunning views of the Mendip hills from the park. There is lots to do, the Tor is basically on the doorstop, the Challice Well is just a short walk away then there’s Glastonbury Abbey and Glastonbury town. The pitches are huge and immaculately maintained as are the facilities including the dog shower. The refuse areas are really clean and tidy with recycling and sustainability a priority at Old Oaks. There is a well stocked shop and you can order baked goods for next day delivery. There is hot food available 7 nights a week. we had the hog roast and it was delicious (as was the Chinese and Indian takeout) they have hot breakfasts also delicious. We pre-ordered a max breakfast box filled with local produce for our arrival which was excellent value, the contents were all lovely we will be ordering another one for our next break. The staff are all friendly and helpful from booking to departure. They’re so patient especially considering the year they’ve had. We had two trips deferred from last year to this and they’ve been brilliant with the rebooking process, we’ve just returned from our first break this year and can’t wait to return next month. At Old Oaks they have pitches to suit everyone, we have stayed in Walnut Circle previously and will be staying there next month as we’ve paid to pick our pitch. As were only there for four nights recently we couldn’t do this and was allocated to Lower Oaks. As a result I now have a new favourite.

So delighted to be able to stay at this wonderful site, especially after the rigours of lockdown. Even though we cannot access all the amenities (due to covid restrictions) I’m delighted to say they still deserve their 5 star rating as the grounds are beautiful and their shop still has plenty of tasty treats!
