We stayed at Exmoor house for two nights 28th and 30th June to visit both the castle and village, we were warmly welcomed and shown to our twin room at the back of the property, which was beautifully appointed with just about everything you could need, we were offered a drink upon arrival, which was nice, and left to settle in, the room was really nicely decorated with a perfect ensuite which had soaps, conditioner, shampoo, in fact if you'd managed to forget it, it was there!!! For us one of the nicest touches in the room was the ceiling fan since it was an incredibly hot weekend!! The choice and quality of the breakfasts is absolutely second to none! We had a couple of excellent meals in the Stags Head next door(literally 10 paces away!!!) And thoroughly enjoyed a night of music and singing along!! Overall quite possibly one of the best weekends away we've had!!!

We can only agree with all the positive reviews on here that this is one of the best B&B's you could ever wish to stay in. From the warm welcome, comfortable and spotlessly clean room provided with all the thoughtful little extras to the delicious and comprehensive breakfast we couldn't think of anything that would have made our stay more enjoyable, (except for a brighter light in the bathroom!), but now I'm just being picky. Thanks to our hosts, if only there were more like you!

Simply put this is a quite superb example of an excellently run guest house. From checking in to checking out it was an absolute joy to stay in an establishment whose owners and staff made it seem effortless to provide a fantastic and welcoming place to stay. My room was very comfortable, excellently appointed and scrupulously clean and welcoming after a hard day out and about. Thank you very much Steve and Sheila, especially for the very kind use of your phone due to my mobiles lack of signal. I would also like to say a special thanks to Pepper who has just the most wonderful and sunny disposition to all her guests at Breakfast. Her advice and information on all the sights and attractions of her native county proved invaluable to my guests and I....thank you so much. Harry Wise

This charming b&b is in a perfect location to explore the Dunster village and castle and lovely countryside around west Somerset. We really loved the great hospitality afforded by the owners and staff in attending our every needs. Many small touches to the room were made to make it feel homely and we were grateful for that. The breakfast selection was incredible from full hot English to porridge and cereals. We especially appreciated the locally sourced produce used for our meals.

Stayed here with friends for the weekend. Quite honestly couldn't fault this b and b. Tea and home made cake on arrival was very welcome and delicious. The room was immaculately clean. Superb location to explore Dunster and the beautiful Exmoor. Breakfast was very tasty with an excellent choice.
