We stopped here as a halfway point to break up our journey from Rugby to Cornwall. We travelled in the evening to avoid traffic which worked perfectly for us. The hotel is also dog freindly and the charge is very reasonable. The reception team were so freindly, welcoming and helpful. They go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. Great value for money, services are just across the car park so breakfast was not a problem. Couldn't fault it really

A conveniently placed dog friendly hotel in between junctions 21 and 22. When leaving the hotel to go to Weston you will need to drop back a junction to turn around to head back (but speak to the front desk about this.... ). This is a no frills hotel which has been freshly decorated and has comfortable adequately sized rooms. In the room you will find tea/coffee making facilities. Hair dryer. TV. Plentiful towels. Free WiFi. There's a smashing shower over a small shallow bath (if you're very tall or want a deep soaker tub you will be disappointed, but it was fine for my 5' 2" frame) . The super friendly staff have lots of local information to share with you. The front of house staff Claire (and I think Elaine?) were so incredibly friendly and helpful, and really made our stay. You could tell they took pride in the hotel and their roles there. Looking at some earlier reviews I can only assume some people think they'll get a 5 star suite with concierge service for their £47-ish room - dream on people! What you will get is a friendly greeting, helpful service, an adequately furnished spacious warm room with a comfortable bed with crisp, clean sheets and a bathroom with lots of hot water! What more can you ask for for the money?! A big round of applause to all the lovely ladies at Sedgemoor!

A good clean room with great facilities, it’s clean and tidy with comfortable beds and hot showers. Tv works fine as does the internet connection, very friendly staff, and easy parking. Great price! I will definitely be staying here again.

Very good value. Very friendly helpful staff when ringing before booking. Sandra who was on the desk when we arrived found us another room as our TV did not work. The room was good though the bath looks a bit manky. The facilities at the service station are limited so we just had a burger for a meal. We would most definitely stay here to break our journey again. Beds were comfortable. As we were travelling South we had to use the back road to get back on the motorway going in the right direction. The staff give directions how to do this. There is a pub about a 15 minute walk away but would not want to ask on narrow lane in the dark.
