Very noisy during the weekends, impossible to sleep and they run out of earplugs... Breakfast is non-existant unless you wake up very early. Location is good, but not worth It taking everything else into account.

My bed was comfy, the bathroom isn't in the room but there were like 5 toilets and 5 showers in each bathroom so there was always at least a free one, modern, lovely chill out room, met great people and I had a very good time, the pub downstairs serves good beers and delicious food, nice and helpful staff. :)

This hostel is cheap and in the heart of the city! The price and location simply cannot be beat. The staff were friendly, although I only interacted with them in the restaurant/bar area (where you go to check in), and never saw them in the hostel itself. The 12 bed dorm we were in was directly above the bar with...

Me and my girlfriend stayed here for a night in a mixed six bed dorm. The rooms looked new and very well maintained and there are new renovations going on for bathrooms(probably finished by now). The beds were comfortable and there was enough space in the room for everybody's luggage and things. First time I saw securable cages under the...

The reception of the hostel is in the bar, so head straight to the door of the bar instead of the one on the side. When I was there, twp bathrooms were in repair, so there was only one left for all the customers...and the toilets were pretty dirty. What was good about this place was its wifi. The signal...

St Christopher's Inn is pretty good from a you-get-what-you-pay for point of view - I'd read plenty of reviews before booking, so there were no nasty surprises. The location is great - very central and within walking distance of everything. My room (a 6-bed female dorm) was good and clean and I really appreciated the excellent in-room wi-fi reception. Showers...

The place is in a good location not far from train station, they get you to download an app,to help you during your stay, that's a first for me, or has it just been a while since I travelled ? Bed was comfy, the place is not five star, but you aren't paying five star prices. Breakfast was included, and...

14 lads thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The beds were comfortable, clean and OK. We had a 12 bed dorm and 6 bed dorm between us. The showers were better than expected and functional. The highlight for us was the chill out room. Very lucky to have this to ourselves when the bar downstairs was busy. We had the room...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
St Christopher's Inn Hostel, Bath is the most central backpacker base in the city. Bath Abbey, the ancient Roman Baths, the modern-day hot spring spa and the famed Royal Crescent are all within minutes of our Bath hostel. Add to that the many boutique British shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants lining the cobbled streets of this quintessentially British city, and you're in sight-seeing heaven! Bath is a perfectly preserved Georgian city in the South-West of England with oodles of history and a lively ambience too. You certainly won't be lost for something to do during your trip. People from all over the world travel to Bath to see the ancient Roman Baths, the history of Jane Austin and the many museums, parks, theatres, canal paths, and trekking trails! Better yet Stonehenge is only a stone's throw away from St Christopher's Inn Hostel, Bath. Visiting Stonehenge is always an experience, as you marvel at the sheer magnitude of these great stones and join the debate as to why they're there. Bath is also an excellent base to explore the quaint and traditional English villages that make up the surrounding Cotswolds. ... more   less
