We stayed three nights at Edgar Townhouse and especially appreciated the excellent breakfast and attentive service. Big weak point was the bed that was narrow, despite the room being quite spacious; considering the price this should be improved.

We booked directly with the hotel and as clearly stated there is a small surcharge if you pay the deposit with credit card, no supplement with debit card. The balance we paid in cash on arrival. It is a very busy street, you may find it difficult to park, after a few times of circling the area we finally parked,... More

Me and my partner stayed here for a weekend, it's in a perfect location, we literally walked everywhere! The breakfast was gorgeous, the staff were friendly and helpful! Rooms where clean. We stayed in room 16 and its directly underneath the kitchen so if your light sleepers and not early rises I would recommend to ask not to be put... More

Three of us shared a large room. It was fine but the bathroom was tight. The breakfast has numerous examples cold and hot selections with very nice waitresses. The people at reception were very willing to help with dining reservations, cabs and excursions. It's a short walk to the amazing old Roman Baths and city center.

We were only in bath for an overnight but we had a lovely stay at the Edgar. The bedroom was lovely and very clean. The breakfast was delicious, with friendly staff especially the waitress that took our order was particularly friendly and helpful. Only slight downside of the Edgar is that it's on a busy road so quite a lot... More

This hotel was one of the more reasonably priced hotels in Bath, especially considering where it was located. We were put in room 14 in the basement and were woken every morning EARLY by the floor boards upstairs. The breakfast was tasty but service was very SLOW. Took 1 hour from sitting down to leaving. Staff were friendly though and... More

Great location in a beautiful street near the historic centre. Good English breakfast and very clean. Some rooms are located in the basement, but daylight still comes in. Also near rugby and cricket grounds.
