Nice quiet location close to the city centre. Friendly staff and clean/quiet rooms. Good breakfast and option to leave your suitcases in the hotel when your departure is later. Try not to have top floor rooms due to the small view from the window however its still a very decent townhouse.

My husband and I have recently spent three nights at the Edgar Townhouse. We chose the double en-suite which included breakfast. The rooms were just as described and pictured on the website, this included a lovely new and exceptionally clean bathroom. There were complimentary toiletries provided and towels replaced daily. Only downside for us was as nice and modern as... More

We had the best room in the house directly above the breakfast room. It was large with a great en suite. The view outside our room was lovely and was exactly what we came to Bath for - to get a feeling of Regency Bath. Breakfast was good and the staff were friendly and helpful. Thoroughly recommend.

We stayed for a couple of nights and were quite happy with our stay. Coming in, the townhouse offers no hotel-like fancies except the location on a gorgeous street of Georgian houses, nor a large reception, but our room was nice and the bathroom spacious. The third bed's set-up hadn't been done although we arrived in the evening, but they... More

Pros Stunning Georgian townhouse about 3 mins walk from all the attractions well appointed rooms Cons Our basement room was really noisy and there is quite a serious issue, we were kept up/woken up both nights/mornings by other guests footfall - partly rattling the windows Breakfast is good basic but nothing more than a premier inn, Carton juice isn't really... We have many breakfast options from bagels to a traditional full English and vegetarian options. We also offer smoked salmon at no additional cost as well... More

Lovely hotel! Beautiful views! Very comfy rooms with tea making facilities. Very friendly staff who were very accommodating. Breakfasts were cooked to order with a wide selection on cereals, my only negative s is there isn't a lift but luckily as there is 4 of us we only stayed on the 1st floor, and no parking facilities, they give you... We stayed three nights at Edgar Townhouse and especially appreciated the excellent breakfast and attentive service. Big weak point was the bed that was narrow, despite the room being quite spacious; considering the price this should be improved.
