Excellent apartments to stay, clean, lovely decor and large room. Lovely bathroom. Wonderful outlook from the bedroom. Lovely rear gardens overlooking cricket or rugby ground, not sure. 10 minutes walk to the centre of Bath (a gentle stroll) A must stay at apartments.

Close enough to the centre of the City w/ Parking & within walking distance of all the main touristy bits of Bath. Our room was on the ground floor, situated away from the main road. Was relatively quiet and had views of the Rugby Ground/Abbey. Clean, Sky TV, WiFi was a bit slow but still able to stream Netflix while... More

Lovely hotel with nice rooms that have amazing views of Bath. The owner is really nice and you can tell he cares about his guests' experience from the details that you can find in the room, from the high quality and comfortable bedding to the lovely chandeliers. The hotel is situated close to city centre and to some really nice... More

We were upgraded at no extra charge to a better room than the one we had booked, which was lovely, The room was spacious, and had a kitchenette, which made eating breakfast in very pleasant. Our room looked out on people playing cricket, and practising croquest - perfect English summer pastimes! The property also has parking, which is hard to... More

We recently stayed here for the third time. A great location within easy walking distance of the centre and with off road parking. The staff/owners have always been friendly and helpful. The rooms are all different and whilst there are some details that need attention (more toilet and kitchen rolls and remember to take your own shower gel and shampoo)... More

Though looking forward to our visit I was very disappointed to find that the promised bathroom didn't exist at all. When I spoke to the manager he claimed he'd been very clever in his reply to neither confirm nor deny the existence of a bathroom...yet there it was in the e-mail, a separate bathroom listed...though not there. The place needed... More

Nice and clean place. Very friendly owner and ok with communication. The room we had was on the front so it was very noisy (and the windows of most listed buildings in Bath are as old as Jane Austen). The bed was very comfy and the little studio had all amenities but they could have paid more attention to details... More

Small but welcoming hotel with fabulous apartment style rooms and a warm welcome from Helen. Easy and pleasant walk into the historical center of Bath, you really can't go wrong with No.17. We had the Buddha room with views across the cricket club to the Cathedral on the other side of the river. Thank you Helen!

We have stayed at Number 17 on numerous occasions and every time it has been fabulous. The apartments are beautifully clean, the décor and furnishings and lovely and the beds comfy. It is so close to town that you can walk in minutes but far enough away so its not noisy. On our latest stay we took my two sisters... More

Beautifully appointed, tastefully decorated I just loved my ground floor apartment with the atrium as the kitchen. The apartment had lots of natural light and was very comfortable. Great location with an easy walk into town, I was out most of the day and found little noise from the road at night. The wifi was the best I had experienced... More
