The location is close to downtown, but still has the sense of a country home. The apartment is well laid out and decorated. The kitchen was stocked with breakfast foods, coffee and tea, helping ease a busy day of sightseeing. The staff is efficient and friendly. Good value. We would stay there again.

A very pleasant stay in the Wellington Room, comfortable and warm, lovely shower and great breakfast in the morning. Thanks to the very friendly and helpful receptionist, even though she was new she went to great lengths to help us and make us welcome. Just one small thing, please leave the teapot on the table at breakfast time rather than...

We chose a weekend away as a present to ourselves and so did splash out but as we wanted time in our room as much as time in Bath this was the perfect hotel. Little touches that made it so memorable and if we come back to bath I'm not sure we'll be able to stay anywhere else. Stayed in...

We stayed at this hotel for a couple of nights after our recent wedding day. The hotel was amazing, the bedroom was wonderful, the breakfast was lovely and all the staff were very nice and friendly and the Hotel was only half an hour away to the main Bath town. Would definately recommend this hotel and will hopefully be returning...

It is an elegant Victorian house built of mellow Bath stone, faultlessly decorated and furnished. It oozes quality and that includes the staff who could not be more accommodating, courteous or efficient. This establishment is not a hotel in the accepted sense in that it has not got a manned bar, a dining room or a lift and it does...

I wish to thank Kate for a wonderful visit. I booked this for my girlfriend's birthday and she was made to feel special by the treatment we received. The hotel is kept to a very high standard and felt like a second home. Thank you so much from Mark and Natalie

My partner took me to Apsley House Hotel for my birthday. We arrived earlier than expected on Saturday morning. We were met by Kate the manager who told us our room was ready and we could also have breakfast. (We hadn't paid for this breakfast) and to be offered it after a long drive from London was such a lovely...

We got the garden suite for two nights. It's not very big, but more than convenient and comfortable. Walking several steps through the door to the garden, you'll find a beautiful English garden. It was fun to take pictures from different view of angles, and different altitude. I love their breakfast; and I preferred the British one. They were always...

First time in Bath and absolutely loved it. This beautiful home is about a 20 minute leisurely walk from the city center through a wonderful park and passing some landmarks. Wonderful and very helpful staff. Stayed in the Wellington Room. I'm a picky traveler and I would stay here again. The only negatives were the weak water pressure in the...
