I recently stayed here with my husband and we both thought that this hotel was fantastic. On arrival we were met and shown our room and given some local information. The staff here are lovely and cannot do enough for you. The hotel itself is a lovely building and situated in a quiet area. The garden is quiet and semi-secluded... More

Beware the sat nav! It's easier to find using a map. We only stayed one night. I think we would have appreciated the luxury bathroom much more if we had stayed longer! Being on the top floor gave us a bit of a workout as the stairs from the first floor are steep and there's no lift. The weather was... More

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights in August. Lovely room. Great staff. Ensuite bathroom really nice. Great breakfast. Staff had great info on the local areas and were extremely attentive. Taxi into bath is £7-£8. Would recommend to friends.

We really enjoyed our 2 night stay at Apsley House. From the moment we arrived to extremely welcoming staff till checkout, it was a lovely experience. The staff are very knowledgeable and extremely happy to help with any request. Our room was downstairs in the renovated old kitchen which was quite spacious with doors opening out onto the garden. Bathroom... More

My wife and I stayed here last weekend for a belated wedding anniversary celebration. I saw on trip advisor that it was number one in Bath and I can see why! From the onset when we pulled into the drive and saw the hotel for the first time I had a great first impression. When we checked in we were... More

My fiance and I stayed at Apsley House Hotel for a weekend in August and we absolutely loved it! He had mentioned that it was going to be my birthday weekend when he booked it, and when we arrived there was a little card and birthday gift waiting for me in our room! Neither of us were expecting that at... More

A lovely, peaceful hotel; charming decoration and serene ambience. The staff were incredibly helpful, even managing to produce a desperately needed phone charger out of thin air. The bedroom decor was lovely and the bed huge - very comfortable but maybe a little soft for some. It did get hot in the night but fortunately I'd spotted a fan in... More

We are not fans of B&B's but after reading all the great reviews on this place i decided to book it for our stay in Bath. I was not dissapointed. The hiuse is and old house converted into a hotel. Great quiet location and a short walk into town center in Bath. Bath is a beautiful city that deserves to be... More

I really can't fault anything. The building is absolutely beautiful from outside and inside. Apsley House has definitely got a character and charm. Loved the decoration in our room and in the rest of the hotel. Breakfast room has a stunning view and food was presented and cooked very well. Good selection of fruit and cereals too. The staff were... More

We stayed at Aspley house for our Honeymoon and our second Anniversary. The hotel is absolutely beautiful with outstanding views and the staff are so welcoming and helpful. We wouldn't stay anywhere else in bath. Thank you again to the staff @ Apsley house.
