We stayed two nights in a supposed en-suite but arrived to find the toilet in the hall. The rooms and bath were incredibly clean, but for the price we also expected other advertised amenities. The internet only worked in the hall (perhaps just one central router for three floors?) so we ended up sitting on the stairs with other guests... More

This B&B is in a great location for seeing everything in Bath on foot. We visited in April and were cold. The heat is not turned on in the room until 7:30 am. Breakfast is from 8 to 9 am. Some rooms have a sink and shower ensuite but you need to cross the hall for the toilet. NOt great... More

We chose Parkside GuestHouse for two reasons; ideal location for our planned lunch engagement the following day plus a lack of overall accommodation within Bath this particular weekend. I made the reservation by phone and all seemed fine and despite looking at of the reviews, was hoping that for just one night it would be fine. I have made other... More

Those booking here should be prepared to carry their luggage-no elevator. The rooms are a little out-of-date in décor, but are a good-size as is the bathroom. Inge, the owner, makes you feel like this B and B is your home. Breakfast is served in a lovely room overlooking the garden. Located in a residential area across from a park... More

The location cannot be faulted, but not all the rooms are en-suite, despite what the website says, and breakfast is only served for an hour, between 8am and 9am, no matter what. Inge, the hostess, is remarkably unfriendly and unhelpful in accommodating anyone who might want to eat outside of her rather rigid hours, and I could not begin to... More

We stayed at this B & B for three nights after trying to book others with them being full and being recommended to this by another B & B owner. A quick review on site showed a good score, but I did not read the reviews in any detail - which I wish I had. We had been travelling for... More

For our third visit to Bath, we opted to stay at Parkside, a fairly modest B&B located on Marlborough Lane. As a party of two couples we took two rooms, one on the second floor and one of the third. The main entry is via a door on the rather narrow driveway, where we were allowed to leave our rental... More

We have just arrived home from a night at Parkside. We stayed here for convenience because we wanted visit the baths and have a night away for our anniversary without kiddies. I was pretty much the only place to stay this weekend last minute and we were nervous because of the reviews. We were happy with the house our room... More

We stayed at Parkside based on Rick Steves recommendation, which from our experience was totally inaccurate. We have been on a 3 week trip around the UK and this was by far the worst B & B experience we had on our trip. The rooms are basic and the breakfast was horrible. My wife had a I were served mouldy... More

I stayed here with my husband, brother and mother. My brother had stayed there before and I was glad he recommended it. Inge was wonderful - so sweet. The back garden makes for a wonderful view and the location was great. Some have mentioned parking but I wouldn't know about that because we didn't have a car. The breakfast was... More
